Golden State ahead Jimmy Butler can be taken for an MRI on Friday, per the Warriors PR.
Butler was dominated out for the rest of Sport 2 of the Warriors’ Western Convention first-round sequence with the Houston Rockets after taking a tough fall within the first quarter on a foul by Amen Thompson. He left the sport and was taken to the locker room quickly after the collision.
He was identified with a pelvis contusion.
Butler was injured when Thompson was pushed into his legs as he jumped to attempt to seize a rebound. Each gamers crashed to the courtroom within the collision, however Butler stayed down longer than Thompson.
It was unclear what Butler’s harm was within the second as he walked, gingerly, to the locker room.
He ultimately obtained up and slowly walked to the opposite finish of the courtroom to shoot free throws. Butler made 1-of-2 and was quickly taken out of the sport and instantly headed to the locker room.
The Rockets, who by no means trailed on Wednesday, gained 109-94 to even the sequence.
Sport 3 of the Warriors-Rockets sequence is ready for Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Japanese Time.
