Haven’t worn it out yet, but initial impression is great!
As the headline states, I have not used the backpack to carry anything out of the house yet. I purchased this backpack to prepare for a future outdoor adventure. First, I like the color and the various pockets it has. There is a headphone rubber grommet area on the backpack which you can see it in the product description, but this is just the grommet attached to the material. The actual backpack material has not been cut or punctured to have anything pass through yet so I suppose it is optional to open it up. I do not plan to use a headphone, but if I was, I don’t think I would even use this location to pass the wire through because it goes into the main large section of the backpack and I don’t think I or most people would put the phone or whatever you are connecting the headphones to in that large section of the back pack. The grommet’s opening is large enough to fit my Camelbak tube through so I might consider using it for that purpose, but most likely will just stick it out of the zipper area since cutting the material under the grommet would make the backpack susceptible to water leaks if it was being used while raining (it’s supposed to be a water resistant backpack). The shoulder strap does have a clip attached that seems to be for the drinking tube so that is very nice to have. The top spacing of the shoulder straps initially seemed to be too narrow and I thought it would bother my neck being so close together, but I added some weight into the backpack and tried it on and the straps actually don’t end up rubbing my neck as long as there is something in the backpack. The prominent “shenhu” & “capacity 40” logos embroidered into the backpack are probably what I do not like about the way this backpack looks. I’m certain that I will at minimum color the white embroidery in with a black permanent pen or find an iron on patch that I prefer and cover it up. Otherwise, this seems to be very well made and after I use it, if the durability doesn’t seem to be as good as I expect it to be, I will return to update this review.

I initially purchased this for bike-packing. Wasn’t really optimistic that it would suit my needs. I used it all last year with very heavy loads 30-40lbs. This backpack is fantastic. Zippers are high quality. Waterproof outside and a Waterproof pocket inside. I was so pleased with the product, I purchased another for daily use. Definitely worth every penny!

Better than the description!
A bit surprised about the size of this backpack. yep, i know it stated the size, but in my minds eye, I thought it was smaller. Very well made! Good sturdy fabric, tons of pockets and a really nice padded back!! Needed a backpack for the summer to carry water bottles, umbrellas, rain coats, and other necessities. This one is beyond that! It will carry all you need! It does has some weight on it by itself. Will use in my travel next month yo a very hot southern state.

After much searching, reading reviews, not only on Amazon but numerous other sights. This knapsack seemed to get the most check marks for my needs. The main reason for my purchase was bike riding. To hold my gym gear, able to pick up a few groceries and other items to shop for while riding my bike. It does it very well and even with a 25 lb load is quite comfortable and doesn’t shift. I like the one big cavernous main bag. I chose the orange to be of high visibility to cars and when I wear it hiking in the woods. Especially during hunting season. Have done numerous bike rides and shopping trips, 1 hike and it held all I needed no problem. The only thing I have done is sprayed it with an outdoor water repellent just to make the items stay dry in a rain storm.In conclusion, I’m very happy with my purchase. The knapsack is comfortable on a bike or hike, shoulder straps don’t bunch up and the numerous pockets on bag and belt are handy to keep certain things close at hand, like my cell phone and binoculars.

Exactly what I needed. Not too heavy lots of pockets and straps for camping gear.
