Plenty of power
The good stuff:FM tuner is very sensitive. The controls are straightforward. The remote is easy to figure out. The power output is impressive.The not-so-good stuff:The curve of the volume control does not allow enough fine adjustment at the low volume setting. You turn it just a sneech and it is too loud. That could be fixed with a different volume control pot.When the volume is turned down, there is some audio amplifier hiss.If you want loud audio, you won’t notice the hiss. You will get plenty of sound. This would make a great amp for karaoke, for which this was designed!Undecided yet on whether to return or not.

Works and sounds good, but user experience for Bluetooth is not that great. Most egregiously, the Bluetooth “connected” chime can be really LOUD if the volume is turned up at all. There should be a maximum on the chime level since it doesn’t depend on the level of the source. You also see this in cheap Bluetooth speakers. Additionally, the buttons and knobs have a cheap feel. The chassis is at least metal and a good size but take this for what it is, a cheap amplifier to use for some in-wall speakers.

It does work, but has it’s quirks….Pros-It works and is reasonably priced for all that it can do.-It’s fairly easy to use, except the FM radio-Has a microphone input with an input volume which is good for karaoke-Compact unit and it seems pretty sturdy-Power supply is built in, no need for a separate power brick-Can also be powered by 12V which is good if used in an RV or boat-It doesn’t get hot-Remembers last input after turning it back on-If playing MP3s from a USB stick or SD card, it remembers what song it was playing when you turn it back on-The power input is fused, but it’s not user replaceable-Has rubber feet so it shouldn’t scratch the surface it rests onCons-The volume from radio is much louder than other sources for some reason.-The radio station tuning is a bit weird and inconvenient. You have to scan the entire FM band and it automatically sets dozens of preset stations. I didn’t see a way to delete the stations you are not interested in. Cycling through the stations afterward is a hassle since there will be many that are not of interest.-The volume control on the remote only reduces the volume (not increases) from how the knob on the device itself is set. The remove doesn’t have full control of the volume.-When playing MP3s from the USB/SD Card, the display does not display the song title or other information.-Bluetooth range isn’t too far, likely because the bluetooth transceiver is inside the metal case.-It’s reasonably loud, but I seriously doubt it’s anywhere close to 300Wx2.-At higher volumes, some distortion can be heard

Great little home audio amplifier!
I’m an audiophile, though my focus is mainly vehicles. I have way more invested in my hobby than would be considered sane by many, and I love it. I love music, I love being able to hear it, feel it, and let it roll over me. So, I’m picky about my gear. This doesn’t mean I won’t listen to anything that isn’t “high end”, but it means I like to hear balanced sound with good clarity. I was looking for a small amp for my barn/workshop, so when I saw this one I had to try it.Setup isn’t complicated. It uses the older style spring clips to hold in bare speaker wire ends. I’m not sure why people in the reviews are complaining about it, it’s the way it’s been done for decades. Most of my home audio speakers don’t have plugs or terminals on the end, just bare wire. Connect your two speakers, turn it on. You can either run RCAs to the back for input, or use bluetooth on a device, or an aux cable. Select your source on the amp and you’re done!First off, this thing gets LOUD. It’s 300×2, which is pretty stout for home audio. I made the mistake of leaving the volume knob at above 1/4 when I first played it and it felt like my ears were going to pop. Down to 1/8 and it’s comfortable to listen to up close. The clarity and audio quality are surprisingly good, much better than a lot that I’ve heard. The bass was stronger than expected as well. There are treble and bass knobs, no mid, but as balanced as the audio is I didn’t need to tweak these hardly at all.I haven’t played with the radio tuner or the USB input as I don’t listen to the radio and I stream my music, so I can’t comment on either of these at the moment, but I’m always glad to know those options are there, just in case.Soon I’m going to hook this into a DSP and pair it with a little sub amp and subwoofer to really bring the music alive.Overall I’m thrilled with this little amp. It doesn’t just amplify but also lets you stream with bluetooth, which is perfect for my barn/workstation. Is it going to win a sound quality competition? No. Will it let you really hear the detail in your music and make it enjoyable? Absolutely. When it comes down to it, we just want to enjoy our music, and this little amp will do that.

I grabbed this NEOHIPO Bluetooth stereo receiver and amplifier for my garage setup, and at this price point, I’ve got no complaints. It pushes 300W per channel, which is plenty to drive my bookshelf speakers for music or a small party. The Bluetooth connects easily to my phone, and the FM radio, USB, and SD options work as expected. I’ve even tried the karaoke feature with a mic, and it does the job without any hiccups. The remote’s a nice touch for adjusting things from across the room. It’s a straightforward, reliable piece for a garage or bar space.
