These speakers are amazing. I made a custom box and threw 2 of these DS18 mids in there, and wow. They’re so loud and have crystal clear sound, not lots of bass, but they are loudspeakers so thats not what I was expecting. I have two American Bass 12’s in the trunk and paired with these, my system screams louder and beats harder than anything I’ve ever heard. If you are looking for loud midrange speakers for a upgraded system these are the way to go. Also, I would recommend these only if you have some sort of aftermarket bass setup, because they are so overpowering for factory speakers even on a stock amp😵💫

I love the look of this DS18 woofer, I can definitely turn up the volume with no distortion and I can hear more mids in the post hardcore rock music I listen to, I highly recommend it and for the price it’s money well spent.

Great replacement mid-range for old Infinity speakers
The second mid-range of my old Infinity speakers got muddy like the first one, so time to replace. I could not find the exact one I replaced the first time but did find this. Sounds great ! Build quality is solid. I use the Infinity speakers as the front speakers of my cobbled together 5×1 surround sound. I do watch a lot of music videos and distortion bugs me. This model does not have the low range but even then just the pair of Infinities sound great. Besides, I have a sub-woofer so the low range is more than taken care of. My Pioneer receiver puts out 100 + watts per channel and when I tested it it got too loud for me before there was any distortion. Great replacement. Oh, there are tiny spaces that are not covered by the speaker due to the size of the Infinity hole, about 1/16 -1/8th of an inch. I just rolled up a piece of paper towel stuck it in the space(s) and screwed down the speaker. I could seal the space(s) with silicone, but . . .

Usato per rimpiazzate due midrange di casse acustiche infinity che avevo da più di 20 anni il foro delle mie casse è di 9cm il foro richiesto per questi midrange è di 9,3cm hanno montato bene uguale un po’ piegata ma leggermente l aletta dove si inserisce la vite ma niente di che quasi impercettibile risultato montano benissimo e hanno una resa in qualità di suono fantastica. Veramente soddisfatto.

Excelente me encantó el poder y definición, los dejé sin graves con un HPF del amplificador ya qué a volumen alto llegaba a distorsionar , pero sin duda son gran opción los volvería a comprar.

I highly recommend these DS-18’s if you want to replace your OEM speakers to get more of a punch in your audio. They work amazing in my daily driver and my audio competition hummer H2. They don’t disappoint
