My son absolutely loves this thing
If you are a parent like me, setting this basketball hoop up will take you about 20 minutes. Don’t do like me and set it up backwards or upside down. The instructions are not clear, and if you are struggling to put two pieces together, trust me, you are doing it wrong. You do not need any outside tools, but you will need to use both hands to screw about 2 different things together that are provided in the plastics bags included. Once setup, your child will love it. Also, the height of the rim is adjustable, so it will last for a long time. Water can be used as a counter balancing weight so that the hoop does not fall over when being played with. If you fill with water and discover a leak on the floor, that means that you installed the bottom part upside down.

Tall enough for my toddler!
My 1 year old is the height of a 4 year old so most baby toys are too small. This basketball hoop is the perfect height being adjustable and is pretty sturdy once filled with water or sand (for indoor use I put his weighted stuffed animal on the base). It comes with a couple basketballs that my toddler loves the size of and throws them perfectly.

Lightweight, easy and easy to assemble. The only slight downfall, is the base is hard to fill with sand with the small opening. (Filled it but took awhile of filling a little bit, shifting the sand away from the opening, filling some more)Otherwise, whether our kids are slamming basketballs In the hoop, or letting it fall and riding it like a motorcycle, the love it.

Not mistake friendly
The assembly instructions are very unhelpful photos on the box. I kept messing up and the pieces lock into place whether they’re correct or incorrect, and trying to take it apart is nearly impossible. I finally managed to get it together (i was sweating and my arms were shaking from the effort of it all), and i realized the directions were for the mid-height setting which is too tall for my toddler, so i had to take it apart to take out a few pieces so it’s super short. I gave up because two pieces are so stuck together that it’s actually breaking the plastic instead of coming apart. I am utterly defeated. I feel like Terry from Brooklyn 99 putting together the dollhouse. I give up. My kiddo is just going to have to wait a year or two before they can enjoy this. Which sucks because i specifically got this because of how low it can get. If you are someone who makes mistakes when putting things together, this is not for you.

This gift was such a hit at the party a few of the parents went home and ordered it for their kids. It was really easy to put together and very sturdy. The kids will have a tuff time tearing this up. Definitely worth every penny. I’d recommend it for any kids ages 2 and up.

The piece got stuck in there and completely snapped. Now we are unable to use it. Dissapointed
