Great replacement charger!
My son lost his MacBook charger so I needed to buy a replacement quickly. I thought a charger under $25 would be a temporary solution but so far it’s holding up quite well! It charges fast, works as it’s supposed to. When plugged into the bed port the magnet helps the charging cable not get disconnected when he moves around. Overall a great value!

Perfect! Gets the job done, no problems at all. Great affordable replacement.
Good build quality and fast charging! Honestly I think this is better than the Apple brand cable, especially when factoring in the affordable price. The color and aesthetic is great – very pretty.

Better than original
This was much more substantial and worked better than my original Mac charging cord, which was problematic from the start.

Works as advertised, but with some annoyances
As far as charging my MacBook Air M2 goes, it works as expected. As others have mentioned (and as depicted in my photos) there are a few aspects that prevent this from being a 5-star product.First, the Pros:- Good price.- Braided cable housing/jacket is attractive.- Protective cable reinforcements on both ends. (Apple product does not have this.)Cons:- The magnet is indeed a bit weaker than the Apple cable.- The main housing is a fair amount bulkier than the Apple cable, in all dimensions. And specifically, the part that gets inserted into the recessed charging part on a Macbook is about 0.5mm “deeper” — which means it sticks out ever so slightly more, and the entire housing does not fit perfectly flush against the Macbook. (You can even see the gap in my first photo.)- The charging indicator is noticeably dimmer than the Apple cable. (Contrary to another review, though, mine does turn green when charging is complete.)The first two “cons” taken individually would not normally be a big issue. But in combination, it means that the larger housing is susceptible to act as a “lever” when something touches it, and the weaker magnet means it is more likely to disengage when that happens. I noticed this immediately when I was reaching over to grab something, and my hand lightly brushed the cable and leveraged it off the MacBook. For the price (about half off the Apple product) I am mostly OK with the tradeoffs, especially since this is going to be my occasional travel cable. If I was using this daily for my work or for frequent business travel, I would really want the Apple cable. I do wish I had paid a little more attention to the reviews, and it seems like these pitfalls could have been avoided with some better component / design decisions and manufacturing tolerances.

Works great
I bought this to have a backup for my MacBook Pro. It works perfectly fine. I take it on long trip just in case something happens to my regular one. So far no problems!

Weak Magnet
Nice quality cord but the magnet easily falls off. I’m constantly fumbling with it. They didn’t make it strong enough.Edit: They reached out to me and gave me a free gift which was more than enough to alleviate my concerns. Great customer service. Shout out to Bonnie.

Not good at charging
Doesn’t charge my laptop effectively. Power supply is spotty. Laptop will beep constantly as it thinks the power is constantly being unplugged and replugged. I thought it was the adapter I had the cord plugged into but that works fine with the original power cord that came with the laptop. My laptop battery has died multiple times after being plugged into overnightUpdated to say the vendor reached out and was very nice and replaced it and the replacement works great

Weak magnets, won’t re-power laptop after too-brief disconnects
These are passable alternatives to the Apple MagSafe cable, but they have some defects that make them less than ideal. Specifically:- The magnets seem a bit weaker than Apple’s magnets. I’ve seen the cord disconnect from moving the laptop even without tugging on it.- The connector is larger, which means you are more likely to bump it while moving the laptop around. (On the plus side, the oversized connector makes it a bit easier to grab and disconnect intentionally.)- The circuitry has a flaw where if you momentarily disconnect it and reconnect it, it sometimes fails to start providing power again. That last one is worth elaborating on further. If you bump the cable and it disconnects from the laptop momentarily, the cable often (not always) gets into a state where the charge light flashes about once per second, and after that, it never provides power to the computer again until you unplug it for a couple of seconds and then plug it back in.I don’t know whether this issue occurs with all power supplies or is a cross-compatibility issue specific to use with a third-party power supply (Wotobeus 240W, ASIN B0B9XFHHNW), because I have not tried this cable with an Apple-branded supply. The one-second flash period could indicate some sort of USB-C PD negotiation bug, or it could indicate something scarier, like a temporary short circuit across the power supply that causes the power supply to shut down power to the port. I don’t own the tools necessary to debug it further, but someone who owns a USB-C PD analyzer should really do so.It is entirely possible that this is being caused by the power supply seeing the sudden inrush as a short circuit condition, in which case it is a bug in the power supply that these cables are simply triggering in ways that Apple’s cables do not. Based on observations, I think the Apple cables intentionally shut off power for a period of a couple of seconds after a momentary disconnect specifically to avoid these sorts of problems. It’s also interesting that after reproducing this a dozen times in a row, the problem stopped reproducing for me. I have no idea what to make of that. 🙃Unfortunately, this firmware or hardware bug makes this cable kind of a pain in the backside to use at times, because the combination of weak magnets and a larger connector make momentary disconnects happen way more often than they would with Apple’s MagSafe 3 cables (which are also kind of bad in that regard, but at least they re-establish power reliably). If they would fix whatever firmware bug is causing the cable’s internal electronics to crash or whatever after a momentary disconnect, this would be a reasonable cable, but I’d hesitate to recommend it as currently designed.

Lo he devuelto y he comprado el cable original.
