    Complete with screws.
Easy fit in drive bay and the screws come with it to mount the new drive and the bracket. The bracket is sturdy and will accommodate two 2.5″ drives. The price is very reasonable. I bought one of these before and ordered two more.

    Worked as promised.
Worked as promised. HP gaming computer has a short dual drive power cord and this tray allowed for stacking the 2.5” drives so I could get power to both drives.

A little tight for cable management but very useful
I would have liked to have the option to put the SSD further back to make it easier to put the cover back on (The power and SATA connections are a little bulky) but I’m in the process of consolidating and tying up the cables. When I’m done, all will be well (the job is well overdue). The mounting bracket allows for greater drive density which gives me room for 6 SSDs if need be (there are six SATA connections on the MSI motherboard). Power connectors can be split and converted to SSD power connectors. A mirrored drive might be a good option here for the more important data. SSDs generate very little heat compared to physical drives.I have removed all mechanical drives because there is another slot for a drive on the top of the case which I really like because the drives just plug in and are connected internally – very handy, especially for backups and heat reduction inside the case. Easy to add and remove SATA drives of any kind.I did order another mounting bracket so that I have plenty of room for more SSDs. There are 5 drive slots in this case, 6 if you remove the CD/DVD drive. I have a 500 GB SSD for OS 10/11 and a 1 TB SSD for data, like photos from the hi-res iPhone cameras in the 15 Pro and music files. The bracket is metal rather than the plastic bracket that came with the case. I’ve had the case for over 10 years. Easy to change the motherboard and processor when the time comes. Easy to manage many SSD drives, especially with this double mounting bracket which is reasonably priced.I also have a 128 GB SSD for storing documents and smaller file types. I like to remove what data I can from the OS drive so it doesn’t keep growing in size over time (Documents, pictures, music etc). SSDs have come down in price quite significantly and make it feasible to go completely SSD (have a backup schedule), which eliminates the need for heat-generating and bulky mechanical drives that can always be connected to the connection on top of the cabinet where heat is not an issue. I have a 1TB backup mechanical drive up there. The cabinet can accommodate four large fans which cools the processor down nicely without going to water cooling (6-core AMD). The cabinet is quite large and roomy inside and replacing drives is a breeze.

This bracket is better than the 2.5 to 3.5 drive bay mounting bracket.
I was shopping around for Corsair mounting brackets because I wanted to swap out some old HDD hard drives for faster SSD drives. Although the bracket I bought from Corsair wasn’t awful, it didn’t quite fit in the sled the way I wanted it too.I have a Coolermaster Overseer case. The reason I bought this case was because I wanted it to be large enough to support bigger graphics cards and power supplies while also having room for water cooling. The Coolermaster Overseer PC case has plastic drive sleds where you can mount traditional HD’s into the sled and simply slide them into your PC, quick and easy. When switching to SSD I found that these sleds were too large and none of the pins on the SSD matched up with the sled. I went shopping around for 2.5 to 3.5 brackets and didn’t find anything I liked from the current marketplace. I knew this had to fit in a sled and having some cheap plastic “thermal cooling” vents for the bracket didn’t make sense.I purchased this mounting bracket thinking that it was designed for adding the original corsair mounting bracket I purchased. I was wrong.Instead, this bracket is completely stand alone and supports two SSDs. I assumed that because my original corsair plate didn’t fit, this bracket would be the same. Thankfully it is not! The corsair dual mounting bracket seems to be a much better product that has its own screws for mounting the SSDs.Therefore, I didn’t need my old corsair bracket because this one did everything by itself. I was able to mount a WD SSD and a Samsung EVO SSD while still having enough room to connect the SATA cables. (However, I do want to note that I did need to buy power extenders and sata cable extenders because the design of my case makes it difficult to connect shorter cables.)So now I ended up with 2 spare corsair mounting plates, two for the price of one. This is a great product for cases that use 3.5 sleds. I highly recommend this one over the single drive corsair bracket. Also, these materials are made of metal and not cheap plastic.

    Best SSD bracket ever made
Used these for ITX builds in the earlier days of SSDs and SSHD combo setups. These can fit desktop cases so perfectly they can slide into a 3.5 drive bay caddy tray and stay in place across different case makers. The best engineered 2xSSD adapter ever made.Fits Corsair, CoolerMaster and even generic cases. Perfect alignment each time.

Best mounting screws, & drive positioning is adjustable forward/backward in mount
Best 2.5 to 3.5 bracket I’ve seen. Why?Drive mounting screws attach drive to slots in the bracket, such that the drive can be slid forwards or backwards in the bracket, so it’s in the most optimal place for the cables of that specific case / pc.The screws have a larger diameter flat head that gets a good purchase on the bracket, so the drives are really securely attached. Yes I realize you don’t need to torque HDD screws to a zillion foot-lbs, but, imho, firmly attached = a good thing.Older metal Dell HDD rails clip into the holes of this adapter perfectly, with the mounting screw in the center properly aligned. Here again, I cite the advantage of the ability to really securely attach the drive rails to the bracket.Comes with 3 different packs of mounting screws. Here again, good flexibility. I mean, I opened the box thinking “Eh, another 2.5 to 3.5 bracket” and was really impressed with how they kept getting things right.Always nice to have the flexibility to install hardware exactly how you want.

This bracket cleans up a case and has been on my to-do list for years. My desktop (HP Elite pre-built mini tower) has had my two SSDs dangling in place because of no easy way to mount them, and historically it’s been hard to find a 2.5 > 3.5 adapter in Canada on Amazon that wasn’t insanely priced.I’m not sure about the reviews saying it doesn’t work in some OEM cases because this used the original, spare quick mount screws that came in my case for mounting an extra 3.5″ drive. It clicks into place and is very secure. Two issues: as someone else mentioned, it’s quite tedious mounting the lower SSD in the bracket. You need a magnetized screw driver (or a screwdriver with a really strong fridge magnet attached) to get the SSD mount screws (included) started in their threads. Not a deal breaker but it took me probably 5 minutes of somewhat infurating time to get things lined up properly and mounted inside the bracket (it should have been 30 seconds). The second issue is that you may need different SATA and/or power cables to make the two-drive-in-one solution work in your case. I had to swap around my right angle and straight plug cables to get them to not interfere with each other, as well as closing the case without a lot of pressure on the cables. Luckily the bracket allows you to move the drives back and forth inside the bracket by about half an inch due to the oval shaped mount points, which some of the cheaper ones don’t.
