We bought this in Florida 2 years ago for the kids to play football on the beach at night. We finally had to buy another so it lasted much longer than we expected. The pump pin didn’t want to stay in when I tried to remove the pump after inflating the football the first few times, so that was a small issue—maybe only for me. 😅 Otherwise, it eventually stayed put, and everything works well. It’s a lot brighter than I expected and feels very durable, which is super important for a seven year old lol. I’m assuming it’s the same size as a regular football, but idk; my tiny hands say it’s huge. It comes with a charging cord and a paper thin drawstring backpack.

I’ve purchased a LOT of light up footballs and this one has been the best. The problem with the others is that the battery packs shake loose, but this one is rechargeable and doesn’t have that issue. The perfect ball for those dark fall nights.

It’s been getting dark earlier and my son like a to play catch every night. Decided to get this ball and it’s been awesome. The ball is very grippy and the light is bright. Also, comes with a charger so we just plug it in at night. So far so good.

The football seems larger than a normal football but that’s ok.There is no on/off button that I could find. Once charged, it seems to light up when ever it is touched or there is contact with something.The largest negative was that it was too hard to pump up even using the provided pump and needle pump. As you can see in the picture, the way the ball arrived deflated did not allow the pump needle to be fully inserted.I did try to reshape the football to be better able to insert the pump needle but that was not possible.
