Great for students
Ordered for my 11 year old grandson and he loves it. Going into middle school, much of the school work is done on computers via google docs and this machine works well for that. A good buy for the money.

Great light/medium duty laptop
I was looking for something I could use for casual browsing, light work, and the occasional CTF. This fits the bill perfectly for that. I installed Fedora on it and hardware-wise everything works perfectly out of the box. It will handle videos/modern internet content no problem with no lag. The size is just right. Keyboard has a nice feel to it. I don’t use the touchscreen much but it appears to work fine. Love that it has default keyboard keys for disabling sound, wifi, and the mic. Pageup/down key positioning is also convenient.Battery life is a little disappointing, as are the speakers. After about 6 months I’m also finding the “clear” layer around the areas where your palms rest next to the trackpad when typing is starting to peel off/wear thru. Camera could also be better but it gets the job done. The trackpad is generally good but don’t expect it to be as responsive as something you’ll find in a Macbook. I have trouble getting it to register very small scroll movements.Overall, you get a lot for your money. It’s a great option at this price point. Would buy again.

Several keys sticking
Just got my Thinkpad 15 minutes ago and during setting it up, several of the keys are getting stuck in the down position and I have to use my nail to get them un-stuckUpdate- keys are still sticking and the battery life is awful. I don’t recommend this laptop

Great laptop
This is a fantastic laptop but it is NOT a touchscreen. I mention that because when I was looking for a laptop, the touchscreen was one of my search criteria and this one came up. Aside from that its light, it’s fast, and powerful. I am really happy with my new computer!

2+ Years Later, Still Going Strong
I love my refurbished ThinkPad. I use it for a lot of different things, every single day, and it still works very well. I bought it in Feb. 2019 and am writing this in Sep. 2021. It’s as fast as the day I bought it. The only issue that I’ve noticed has come about more recently is that it doesn’t sound as loud as it used to so Zoom meetings are a bit difficult for older people to hear. I bought some laptop speakers to resolve the issue. Love my ThinkPad. May need to buy a docking station to use a brand new monitor, though, bc the monitor doesn’t seem to work when plugged directly into the laptop.

Truly amazed
When I open the box and looks at the computer the words wow literally left my mouth. The computer does not come with drivers however it is a licensed copy of windows so I went to the Lenovo website and did the automatic driver detection everything works perfectly you should know that this machine does not come with a backlit keyboard but you can buy one and they’re relatively easy to install. This computer is in perfect quality I can’t see a single thing wrong with it it looks brand new I was worried when I ordered from the company my fears have been put to bed.
