Really is silent!
This ball is just like a real basketball but quite and doesn’t break items when playing with it indoors!!! Love it

NOT 400g. NOT 90% bounce. Still above average for the price.
When compared to other silent basketballs in the 20dollar price range, this Yougeweiwu silent basketball is better than average. But I have to say, the weight is NOT 400g and the bounce is NOT 90%. There is no need to make bold face lies in your claims. Sell the basketball on its merits. When the manufacturer compares itself to other silent basketballs in the product listing with stats, disparaging the competitors, the company’s numbers better be accurate. They weren’t.Using a digital scale the ball is 353g. Nowhere near the claimed 400g. And the bounce is not 90%. Comparing the bounce to a name brand (original?) silent basketball competitor in the 40dollar range, the weight is about the same, give or take a few grams. It does bounce a tiny bit higher. If the name brand is 80%, this one is 83-84%. Now this might be because the name brand ball is 1 year old. So it’s not an apples to apples, heads up comparison. The point is that the bounce is NOT 90% of a normal basketball as advertised.In the Current (Mar2025) price range of 20dollars this Yougeweiwu silent basketball is a solid choice. Above average for the price. Just stop with the false advertising/claims. I’m tired of it.The foam ball aired-out to regain it’s shape in a day. I just carefully cut open the bag and put the ball on a shelf in the basement. By morning it was perfectly round. There were some “wrinkles” on the outer surface. Just cosmetic.My 1 year old, name brand silent basketball lasted a solid year of indoor dribbling before the surface started to look a little grubby and pitted. I will be updating that review. Hopefully, this ball lasts as long or more. Note: ONLY USE THESE silent basketballs indoors. None of them will last outside. These are not made for outdoor play.

My Son Can’t Put it Down
This is a great silent ball. My son can practice his handles inside all year round. There is a slight bounce noice, but nothing like an actual ball. I would highly recommend. We orders a few days before leaving for a trip and it came right on time. Other balls that we looked at were going to take 3-4 weeks to arrive.

Good idea but not good quality
Good idea, however used it for 1 week indoor, the sponge starts to crack. It will not last long.Update:After 1 month regular use indoor, it is totally a garbage now.

Decent Indoor foam basketball
It’s silent and soft, bounces but not as consistently as a real basketball so it takes some getting used to. THIS has been a great addition for indoor use because of how soft and harmless it is. It helps you squeeze in some movements and practice your dribbling skills every time you get up indoors. It also bounces on any surface with enough force. It did take a few days for the ball to take its final form; you could tell because it would not bounce straight up for a while and instead bounced around erratically. I would say if you love basketball, get this. Haven’t found anything close yet, so this is a go for me.

Good Size, Realistic Look for Real Basketball Training
This is our second silent basketball. This silent basketball is much more realistic looking in terms of color, it feels more durable, and the size is on point. It made our previous silent basketball seem more of a child’s play toy which is fine for if that if needed– but this seems to be an actual training silent basketball. Definitely recommend if looking to complement actual skills on the court.

Surprisingly a fun, silent indoor basketball!
I actually didn’t know what to really expect when placing this order for a “silent” basketball. I really didn’t know that such a product existed on the market until seeing a couple of our neighbor’s kids roughhousing with one in their garage where it came out of their hands, rolling down their driveway towards me. Their Mom was raving to us how great it was that they could play with it indoors and make less of a noise and not really make much of a mess as an actual full-sized basketball would hitting furniture. (A big bonus is that you won’t irritate the neighbors either!)The ball arrived odd shaped because it was vacuum packed in plastic, but almost immediately started taking shape once I carefully cut open the tight plastic wrap. My picture was taken approximately ten minutes from opening the wrap, so you can still see that the ball is slightly misshapen. I think it took about 30 minutes to fully take on a round shape. The ball isn’t as precise dribbling as it would be with a regular basketball, but still is pretty good. Definitely lots of fun to be had and I look forward to showing it to my basketball daughter once she’s home from school. She plans on working on her dribbling skills with this ball while at home indoors. I feel this is a win for the basketball lover!!

Literally a silent basketball
When this arrived and my son started bouncing it I died laughing. I was just not expecting it to be completely silent. My kids have so much fun with this inside and out and so far its held up to 3 weeks of play. It has a nice weight – not too light and not too heavy. It’s a replica of a real basketball (the same size), and looks realistic. It’s a good way for my kids to have fun, while being quiet at the same time.
