I bought this case for my Asus ROG Zephyrus M16, a 16-inch gaming laptop. Initially, I was skeptical because gaming laptops are often thicker and larger, but I chose Tomtoc because I’ve had great experiences with their products in the past. I even carry a small Logitech mouse alongside the bulky 240W charger in that pocket, and everything fits nicely.The real test came when I accidentally dropped my backpack off a tall standing table at college. My laptop was inside the tomtoc case, and I was sure the impact would cause some damage. But when I took the laptop out and powered it on, it was in perfect condition! The screen was flawless, and there were no issues whatsoever. I’m still using this case with the same laptop today, and it even doubles as a lap desk when I’m working on the go.The military-grade protection in this case, including the CornerArmor Technology and high-density padding, clearly paid off. PERFECT fit for Surface Book 3
There are so many bags, cases, sleeves, packs, etc., for every conceivable model of laptop or tablet that it can take ages to find one that is almost CERTAINLY going to be a good fit. I was looking for a good fit, light weight, water resistance (i.e., short distances in light rain), a handle, and room for the slightly bulky Surface Book 3 power block. By some stroke of luck, I came across this Tomtoc “sleeve” and it seemed to be perfect. I was a little surprised that the size bag listed for the Surface Book 3 seemed like it might be bigger than a perfect fit, but the inside dimensions looked very close, so I went for it. It arrived in 3 days, and the fit is exactly right. The edge padding seems quite adequate, and the front and back padding has a little stiffness, but the whole thing COULD be considered “crushable.” The handle pulls flat when not in use, and the double-zipper runs across the short side, so it takes a bit less action to fully open it. Note that it’s a SLEEVE, not a real bag, so the computer slides in — It doesn’t open fully like a briefcase. Which is better for my use, since I don’t intend to put anything in with the computer anyway. There’s a 2/3 width full length zipper pocket on one side, divided in thirds by a broad elastic strap. The power brick fits neatly under one strap, the attached computer power cord under another, and the detatchable wall cord under the third one. With everything in place, there’s no excess pressure on the laptop screen inside the sleeve portion. The Surface Book fits snugly, but with just enough room to leave the stylus snapped to one side.If I had one improvement to ask for it would be some shock-absorbing stiffeners in the four corners, but this isn’t a rough handling sort of case — it’s a minimal design that will protect the machine from casual hazards, and provide a handle and space for a few accessories. I no longer need to haul disk drives around, blueray plugins, trackballs, and the like, so the convenient but limited storage is just what I was looking for. We’ll see how it handles the rigors of normal use, but I see no reason to expect it to wear out during the life of the computer. The build quality seems excellent, and it even has YKK zippers. It’s a quality product at a reasonable price.

Surprised
I decided to upgrade my mac this year. Could not find much that interested me. I am not even sure how I found this one . The color is great but what I love about it is the snug fit. Even with a clear shell on the laptop it is snug and secure. My hubby liked it so much I bought him one too. It did not have a shoulder strap but that is fine the handle is sturdy. It is not heavy and the interior is plush so nothing gets scratched. I think the value I spent was worth it.

My 13-inch MacBook Air fits perfectly in the main compartment. I like how the zipper is on the side instead of on top. Allows for a shorter zipper and helps to secure laptop in the case.The front pocket is large enough to hold several extra items.Seems to be very well-built.A good value for the price paid.

Bought this for my husbands new 2023 MacBook Pro 16.2”. It’s a perfect fit, lots of padding to protect the computer. The outside pocket fits the charger and cable with room for a little more.It’s got a nice finish and feel, offer substantial protection without being bulky and the handle makes it easy to grab.I wish it had the metal tabs to add a step but it’s not needed for daily use.Oh and do you know it’s made with 8 recycled water bottles!

I was really struggling to find a case suitable for the new MacBook Pro 16” as this was a size they’d never done before. Apple themselves were only selling leather cases that are actually meant for the 15” and had marked the edges of people’s laptops (at a much greater cost might I add).The first thing to say about this case is that the inside is very soft and the laptop fits perfectly. The zip is made in such a way that it will not mark the casing of your laptop also. The zip is side mounted. Also the front compartment (which was a main selling point for me) has 3 elastic sections inside – I carry around the power cable, a USB-C hub and a selection of other cables including HDMI and audio cables. Everything sits perfectly in place.The material seems sturdy but I have only been using it a few months so can’t really comment – I am hoping it will last the life of the laptop.
