I’m a Smartwool fan in general, so I tend to opt for their products when I can. These socks are probably my favorite version of a Smartwool sock that I’ve purchased. They’re perfect weight for everyday wear, but do great on a hike as well. My feet weren’t sweaty and hot, and no blisters appeared. They’re a great color and great fit. I wear an 8 in shoes and the medium fits perfectly. Definitely buying more of this type for my long-distance backpacking trip next year.

These are brilliant socks, we’ve made the switch to Smartwool from Bridgedales – as they’re thinner on the top of your foot your feet don’t get half as sweaty. Well worth it.

Smart wool socks are the best socks to keep your feet warm for winter weather without being bulky. Your feet never get hot and for anyone whose toes can cramp in socks you can rest assured it will not happen with these. Great to wear with winter boots. They never stretch out or fall down and 100% prevent blisters as well if you go hiking. Highly recommend!
