Better than Foam Earplugs
So I was boucing back and forth between foam earplugs and my noise canceling galaxy buds 2 pro for when I’m on my motorcycle. The galaxy buds are far superior and also offered a music option.But now that I have a cardo, the galaxy buds are pretty much overkill while riding. But that’s okay because they were hard to keep in the right position while I was wearing my helmet. Especially while putting the helmet on and taking it off.So now the Softvox earplugs come into play. Foam earplugs just weren’t enough for wind buffeting noise and they also put pressure on the inner ear as they expand. Definitely didn’t feel good. The Softvox earplugs are better at blocking wind noise but still allowing me to hear my music and phone calls. It reduces the decibels of the environment and seems to work really well. I’m happy with the purchase and at this price point, especially getting (2) pairs in the box is a good deal in my opinion. They are fairly comfortable. Just make sure to put them in your ears properly by lifting the corner of your ear like an ear exam. You don’t have to jam them in, just a gentle push and it’s fine. I also didn’t have any issues pulling them back out of my ears like some people in reviews have been saying.If I had to rank it, from best to worst; (1st) would be the galaxy buds 2 pro’s, (2nd) the Softvox earplugs, and (3rd) generic foam earplugs.

Finally!! Plugs that work!!
Got these for air travel and I’m so happy! They actually worked!! You can have a conversation with someone sitting next to you, but they really drown out the background noise (especially that heavy airplane noise that drones on). Have also used them for sleep and they were super comfortable and helped drown out loud sleepers in the same room. They did not fall out over night. Used them again at a very loud outdoor event and was thrilled, I could still hear but the painfully loud bits were drastically reduced.The carrying case is a huge plus for me too. I will buy again!

Minor inconvenience with insertion, otherwise good earplugs
Work well, yet often I have to re-insert 2 or 3 times before I get a really good seal. It is easy to hear the difference, as once they are well inserted they truly do block to a high decibel rate. Once properly inserted they typically stay in. It does help to tug your ear with the other hand while inserting. Would have given 5 stars if insertion was easier.Durability is good, I used them a few dozen times without them losing their ability to block sound.One piece of advice: use a Q-tip to dry your ears before insertion if you recently bathed or showered. The plugs don’t stay in as well when your ear canals are wet.

Worked great for my recent flight
Product worked very well to help tone down the loud airplane noise while I could still hear conversation. Comfortable in my ears. Happy with the Ear Planes.

I almost never ride without them now.
I love these things while on the motorcycle. My only gripe is that sometimes they move just a bit while putting my helmet on and the “seal” is broken. So I have to take my helmet off again, fix them and put it back on. But I didn’t mark them down a star because I think this is more due to the fact that everybody’s ears are different and the act of putting a helmet on obviously rubs against your ears.The noise level reduction with these in is fantastic. My ears would be ringing when I got home from work but not anymore. The only time I don’t use these while riding now is if I’m within a few miles of where I’m going.Oh, I guess I have one more small gripe. I don’t think I can tell the difference between the two colors, and I don’t think the packaging you received said much about what the difference is. So I just treat the other set like a backup pair.

Eh, they don’t really help in my case.
I’ve tried both sizes this comes with, and neither of them seem to really help in my use case. I of course bought them to try and block wind noise without muffling everything else around me, and they don’t really do that.They do block a little bit of wind noise, but really not a lot, however they also muffle everything else more. I have to crank my Cardo 45mm speakers to hear them AT ALL, but once I start moving the wind noise overpowers them. I can’t hear any traffic or anything around me.If they muffled everything, I’d probably still give them a pass cause at least that’s what ear plugs should do, but these don’t seem to muffle the higher pitched portions of wind noise, which is what really hurts my ears.These do come with a really nice keychain case, which is nice.I’ll try another brand, I’m sure these just don’t fit my ear canal well. I have better wind noise blocking by just playing my Cardo at a reasonable volume, strangely.

They get the job done
These are awesome at drowning out any and all noise! They feel super nice and the quality is there. They fit perfectly on my keychain and nicely in my ears. For the money it’s worth it! My only complaint is that they work a little too well and drown out my music in my helmet when I’m doing highway speeds. For reference I have a Cardo system with the JBL headphones. I also use these at work since I’m in a loud environment and they stay in my ears really well and I’m able to have discussions with them in. I’m hoping to get some of my coworkers onto these as well!

Bought these because since I’ve gotten older my ears pain really really bad on take off and defending to the point I could cry. Ears don’t pop either once on the ground . Bout these to try out this past weekend for my 6 hour flight and they worked fabulous . No ear pain . They were easy to put in and turn . Easy to take out . Comfortable . I left them in for the whole flight . First time use was a success . Hope it’s the same for my flight home .

Have used these on the motorbike travelling at 110kms (legal limit) and found they cut out most of the wind noise, made it easy enough to hear my podcast, and made my ride more pleasant. Was able to hear just fine after the my ride, which isn’t always the case. I recommend these to any rider.

Arrived on time and very well packaged. Product performs very well. I use it for working around the house with machinery as well as bike riding. On the motorcycle, it cuts down wind noise by 85% or more. I can still hear the bike but droning and hissing all gone. Only small detail , in my specific case, they start to be uncomfortable after more than 60-90 minutes of wearing with a my HJC motorcycle helmet.
