Better than similar ratchet-style belts for a quarter of the price
I had a similar ratchet-style belt from a different company that starts with a “M” and after 4 years, the leather belt was delaminating in multiple areas. The buckle was perfectly fine, albeit a little scratched up. So I came on Amazon to look for just a replacement belt without the buckle. To my surprise, the price for the belt was 3x the cost of this Bostanten belt and buckle. After reading some reviews, I decided to give this Bostanten belt a try. At worst, I can return it to Amazon. When the belt arrived, I was very surprised. The packaging, the materials, and the buckle all exceeded my expectations of a $13 belt. After a month of everyday use, I can say this belt is worth every penny. Functions just like my old ratchet belt I’ve used for the past 4 years and the buckle seems to not scratch as easily. The belt is also wider (40mm vs 35mm for my old one). If you’re looking for a belt, definitely give this a try as it’s well worth its price.

Great value, no holes, and stylish
This is exactly as it appears. It’s a great quality belt w/o holes. My old belt had the adjustment holes tore up and it was too large. I found this by accident. The belt ratchets through the buckle, It has a quick release lever that simply is simple pulled to release it. No holes at all. It works fantastic and looks great, The buckle is a sturdy metal buckle. Not cheap or flimsy in any way. I honestly was looking for an inexpensive alternative to belts on-line and in the stores. I didn’t know what too expect when I ordered this one and I’m blown away.

Very impressed with this belt! Feels and looks great. Was really easy to cut and adjust it. Putting the belt on and taking it off is very satisfying. I was really impressed with the packaging considering the very low price of it. And the buckle is freaking excellent. I most definitely recommend this belt if you’re looking for a quality belt that adjusts more accurately to fit versus the typical punch hole belts.

Still so great to this day. Absolutely nothing wrong with it except that more will be needed just because. Buckle quality is perfect. Does not slip whatsoever. Fits just right. Color is exactly as described. Locks nicely. I’d buy it again.

Best high quality adjustable ratchet belt. Simiar to Kenneth Cole Belt from Macys for Half the Price
I have been using a Kenneth Cole adjustable rachet belt from Macys for years and love it. It’s great because it easily adapts to small body waist-size changes over time for an always perfect belt-supporting fit. The problem is the leather wears out over time and splits. After going through a few of the KC belts and needing a new replacement, I saw this BOSTANTEN belt that looks very similar with the same rachet features. I found a special deal that makes it 50-75% cheaper than the KC belt so I figured it would give it a try. Wow!! It’s made of the same quality of the KC but for half the price and the actual leather belt (if wanted) will still work with the KC buckle. I’m very impressed and ordered another one. Only time will tell how long the belt/buckle will last but for half the price I’m fine with it. Will post a follow-up review if the leather prematurely falls apart before the 1-2 year mark.Others have posted negative reviews because they don’t understand how the ratchet system works. Just try it out before you put it on so you understand what direction the buckle lever needs to go to unlock and release the belt. If you don’t do this then you might have a small panic attack and cut the belt to escape. This is generally what most of the negative reviews are about.

It was an attractive part of my wardrobe right away, after I got got used to of the release mechanism. I have high hopes of a long life from it too. I really have no negative views of belt to discuss, at least not yet. It is a good serviceable item at this point.

I had doubts about the durability of these – it’s regular faux-leather and the stopping bits are made of plastic. But after more than one year of use, I see no indication of anything being worn-out (apart from the buckle paint on the corners, and the leather taking the shape of my person, which is expected). I liked the closing system but didn’t review it immediately as I wasn’t sure it would last very long.This closing system is great – super fast, discrete, easy and much more precise adjustment. In my case, I was looking for an alternative because two of my old belts buckle pins were damaging my t-shirts. Here, nothing protrudes, so no damage.It’s also cheap, so for me it ticks all the boxes.
