Buyer Beware
I received the PC and set it up, it took a couple days to move my files and reinstall all my apps from my other machine. I am having a very small problem with Windows 11, ICONS when in the task bar show as just grey squares. I have tried all the “fixes” on the windows forums, I called the Amazon tech support ASSURION, that I paid extra for I called them and they told me that it was a LENOVO Issue and to call LENOVO. after a long hold time I talk to LENOVO tech support and they inform me that based on the serial number the machine was built and shipped from Uganda and they could not offer any help with the problem.

Good Basic PC
I purchased this pc to replace a 15 year old family room pc. I kept my “expectation” realistic. this is a “browse the internet, check online internet emails, pay some bills, and watch videos online” only type of computer. I am positive it could also play some of those gem style games or others in that category. If you think this is a “gaming” pc, it is not. This is a new computer, but it is old/new stock. please do not be confused or mislead just because it says new. it is the same thing other online bulk sellers or local bulk box stores do, sell you name brand reputable items for a cost that will not break the bank, but those models are almost always 2 or 3 model years old. If you want now-a-days “new”, then you need to go to the manufactures website of your choice, pay double the cost of this, and purchase from them.after receiving it, i was impressed with the size of it. smaller, more compact than i was expecting it to be a litter bigger than it was. it has 1TB of main storage “C” drive capacity for photos and small games AND it has 32g Ram….for under $500, that is phenomenal. the other main selling point for me, it comes with LAN and Wifi built into it; meaning I can essentially put this pc anywhere I want in my house, even if i don’t physical network line there, or even better for me is if the LAN port ever goes bad (I’ve had happen so always on my mind) I can always connect via my home WiFi. For my personal experience with it I ran into two issues, but I believe they were most likely self induced. when 1st starting it up, i ran the commands for windows 11 to not require Microsoft account. I believe this caused it to skip Lenovos auto setup, not exactly sure on that one. once in windows I did have to go to Lenovo website, find and put in the serial number so I could then download and install the board level drivers it was missing. I also ran into the problem where Windows 11 was reporting it was too old and needed to upgrade but that components to upgrade were missing. I do not know what that was about, but ended up going out to Microsofts website to download the latest ISO image they provide and did an in-place upgrade. after that, its been running just fine. I am only giving it 4 stars simply because it only has onboard video connections and does not have a secondary independent video card; if it did for this price it would be the buy of the year in my opinion.

Incorrect boot order made everything more difficult to setup than expected
Was taking too long to boot since other devices were being checked first. You will need to get into the Startup menu in the BIOS and change the Boot Order so Boot Manager is first. Was not so easy finding it, you have to poke around.

Economical PC
I only use this for internet/streaming, word processing, and communication. This set up works perfectly for me. The only glitch was the internet connecting to the wifi downstairs which was solved by repositioning the unit. This is a great PC for the price.
