2. Seattle Mariners – The Mariners clinched the AL West crown for the primary time since 2001, and could have a first-round bye and home-field benefit for the ALDS.
3. Cleveland Guardians – The Guardians’ unbelievable season comeback garners them the AL Central title and can host the group they leaped over, the Tigers, in a wild-card collection.
4. New York Yankees – The Yankees clinched a wild-card spot and can now host the Crimson Sox in a blockbuster first-round collection.
5. Boston Crimson Sox – The Crimson Sox return to the postseason for the primary time since 2021. They may tackle their bitter Yankees rivals within the wild-card spherical.
6. Detroit Tigers – The Tigers salvaged an AL Wild Card berth after a surprising late-season collapse. They may tackle the AL Central champions Guardians within the wild-card collection.
