Worth the money
I purchased this Refurbished Desktop computer package deal for a 67 year old friend of mine, this is his first computer. This is still an ongoing project due to scheduling, but within about two hours it was up and running with out any problems, I could have completed the actual set up quicker, but he took the opportunity to change cell phone providers while I was there and that ended up taking three hours. I am please with how well it operates and its ease to set up. I would recommend this product. I don’t know if I would recommend training a 67 year old on their first computer though. ( it will be worth it )

Mind-numbingly slow, and loaded with unwanted software.
I really debated on how many stars to give it. Yes, it was cheap. But still…probably 2.5 stars would have been more accurate. The computer did arrive more quickly than expected. That’s about the best thing I can say for it. There were problems from the start. Just getting it to boot up for the first time was a challenge. It would go so far and freeze. I’d leave it several minutes, but nothing short of the power button would work. After leaving it again and playing with it I was able to finally get it to boot up and go through set up. The mouse that came with it didn’t work, so I replaced it with a spare I had on hand. Once everything was set up I started taking a look at the software that was pre-installed. The first desktop icon I clicked on took a full 15 seconds to do anything. Internet Explorer, my preferred browser, wasn’t installed. I ate a leisurely lunch while it downloaded. Yes, it took that long. And before anyone asks, there is nothing wrong with my internet. I logged on to my Edward Jones account, but I didn’t have the patience to wait FOUR MINUTES between screens. There is software installed on the machine that I wasn’t expecting, such as Microsoft Publisher, Excel, and some second-class programs for opening pdf files, etc. Oddly, no Adobe Acrobat Reader. The machine is obviously used, which I knew when purchasing, but it feels like the previous owner’s data files were wiped out but their programs left in place. It’s not worth the hassle to return the computer, so I’m going to start stripping out the unwanted programs, give it a thorough going over to make sure there are no unwanted “gifts” on there, and see if I can’t get the speed up to at least close to where it should be. But this should serve as a caution to other buyers that they’re probably not going to receive a machine likely to work satisfactorily out of the box.UPDATE – One day later and the keyboard has quit working.UPDATE – I have revised the rating to 1 star. The problem with the computer involved corrupt Windows file. We removed Windows entirely and replaced it with an updated version that actually works. The keyboard is hopeless, and has just been pitched. Even a cursory check of this machine by the seller would have revealed profound issues. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this seller altogether.

Excellent Customer Service
Bought this for my daughter. Luckily I checked to make sure it was working before she took it home. Product had no power, i know when you buy a remanufactured PC, they basically go through them and fix any issues they have and refresh them back to factory settings. I was thinking it was the power supply but wasn’t sure. I emailed the company (Christmas Day) and they replied within a couple hours, I really did not want to send the whole unit back, told them what i thought the issue was and they replied back, saying because of the Holiday they could not send a new one out until Monday. Understandable, Felt really bad my daughter could not take it home with her. The following day i remember my Laptop was the same make, So i figured i would try the power supply from that just to check. PC power right up, and ran with no flaws. The reason for the 5 stars, Excellent Customer service, I wasn’t expecting a response for a few days. I had the new power supply within 4 days. I will not hesitate to do business with this company i the future. Thank you for the fast response.

the computers broken and doesn’t work well i restarted it once and the pc doesnt work anymore

I have absolutely no complaints, this is the second PC I’ve purchased and I am still happy with the choice. I bought this for my son who will get plenty of use out of it.
