This is a clean and simple book to make you a better baseball coach. Everyone one should use this as a step 1. Youth organizations should be purchasing this in bulk and distributed to all their coaches. Being able to become a better coach of young players is a skill that is so overlooked. Players are at such an impressionable age in youth baseball at all ages that something like this will give players and coaches such a better experience and retain more players in the sport. Great Book For Players Wanting To Prepare To Play The Game At A Higher Level
With all of the travel ball going on today and players not getting solid training in the intricacies of the game, players are often coming into our high school program without the basic understanding that we require. I’ve been providing my players baseball IQ questions and explanations during the summer, but it’s a lot of work to cover all the things they are lacking game knowledge of. Then I saw this book come out. Bingo. This covers an awful lot of the baseball IQ needed for those wanting to play the game at a high level. This book is now becoming required reading for any player who is wanting to play in our program. And at the price for the kindle version, it’s an easy decision to buy it for all of the players. Hats off to Joe (and Dan) for putting this out there.
