Not the prettiest ball but I wanted a distinct ball so that I can easily identify it when playing with others. My 13 year old loved it from the start but the 16 year old hated the texture until the ball was broken in enough to wear the outer layer just a bit, a few weeks of regular use.It was kind of fun that it came deflated in a short rectangular box.
