Got this for my grandsons 8th birthday. He said it’s the BEST gift ever. He even took it to baseball practice and now everyone on his team, including his Coach wants to get one. It works great. Balls are timed perfectly. I highly recommend!!

Well, it’ll teach them how not to swing a ball…
We have fun with this & for the price and age of my kids, it’s fine. But, the pitches are not all the same. It’ll throw 3 down the middle and then all of a sudden, start pitching them much farther or much closer to the machine. It DOES, however, mimick our kids pitching accuracy in 8U.. kind of all over the place haha. So, we’re still learning something useful… what not to swing at. Lol

Basically Junk – didn’t work right out of the box, ruined a 5-Year Old’s Birthday
This never worked, the motor wouldn’t turn on – so there was obviously no quality control. Tried batteries and 6v DC Adapter. My grandson was so disappointed, he cried himself to sleep. Franklin sports, and your resellers need to do better, when you have someone pay $80.00 for your product, and you don’t confirm it works before putting it in a box and shipping it out to people.My Grandson loves baseball, and was so excited to play with this, and you can imagine how disappointing it was that the motor didn’t even start. I’m returning it and trying one more time – I hope someone’s listening…perform some quality control people!

Good but not great
Great product but only comes with 4 balls and the wire is sold separately. You need batteries. When you inevitably lose a ball, you’ll attempt to order replacements, but they aren’t available so you’ll likely purchase a similar brand that Amazon advertises, which do not fit into the machine the same way and therefore do not work as well. So in order to use this machine effectively, you have to do so with only 3-4 balls at a time and can’t leave it loaded for a decent amount of practice swings.

Great for the money
I bought this pitching machine for my boys (5 and 11) to practice in the back yard. It has a few quirks, but overall for the money it was a great purchase. My boys can set it up and use it themselves, and it’s great for timing practice. The balls are great for the backyard, as they feel solid when hit, but won’t break windows. Not sure of top speed, but it’s comparable to the pitching my older son faces in little league.
