    MS age adventure book
Millie’s parents made her keep a B average in school otherwise she could kiss hockey goodbye. She no longer played for the Lightening. The girls formed an all-female team & called it the Dakota Hurricanes. The team members are: Millie (captain, center), Georgia (left winger), Ashlyn, Lola (twin daughter/sister, right wing), Daylyn (twin daughter/Lola’s sister), Khloe (goalie), Sage (forward), & Violet (forward). The Lightning’s hockey team consist of: Cameron (captain), Logan (Millie’s cousin, goalie), Luke, Hunter, Linkin Marsh, Ben, Rhys, Preston,Both girl/boy kids on the hockey teams went to Dakota MS.Cameron still ran the Lightening Hockey team.Millie, & Cameron are going to play each other to see who’s the best hockey team in Dakota. It was time for the game to begin. Jon (HS), & Bev (HS) would officiate/ref the hockey game. Will the girls or boys win?I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.A very awesome book cover, great colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very well written MS age hockey adventure story book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great hockey adventure movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. A very easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author; Indie Publishing Group; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

Great for a young Hockey player!
My 10 year old hates to read. He plays competitive hockey. I stumbled across these books and thought I’d get them and maybe he would read them because they are hockey……..and he read them and didn’t complain every moment while doing so. Win! 😂

    Fun, fast read.
My 10.5 year old son really enjoyed it, but it was a fast read for him. Would definitely recommend for a younger age, maybe around 8 or 9 would be perfect.

    👌👌
The complexity yet innocence found within a children’s book will always amaze me. This read was quick and easy, but utterly powerful at the same time. I love reading to my children, especially when it’s something meaningful and worthwhile.

Reading this book for the second time
My 4 year old son loves hockey and we are always looking for chapter books to read at night that aren’t scary/intense/dangerous. This fit the bill perfectly. It’s definitely aimed more toward middle school kids but I don’t have any problems reading it to a younger kid. In fact, I enjoyed it too. I’ve already pre-ordered the sequel!

This was a Christmas present for our 8 year old grandson and he started reading it almost immediately and finished it within a few days. The writing is perfect for this age group and probably even older children as well and the book was well spaced out with good line drawings. This was no 1 of a series so will definitely be buying nos 2 and 3 for his birthday.

This is a nice sized tale that’s an easy read – and I’m mean that in the best possibly way. It’s well written, fun and may even teach adults a thing or two about how to conduct oneself! I really felt for both Cameron and Millie, the two opposing team captains, and they brought back memories of how complicated friendships between boys and girls can become at such a young age. The author is obviously very understanding of this and it explains it well to the reader.I would definitely recommend this to everyone, even if, like me, you’ve never played ice hockey and don’t really understand the rules. This isn’t really about the game, but more of a heartfelt story about some of the toughest, earliest of life’s lessons that we are all confronted by at some stage or other.5 stars well earned!
