The ball must have hit a large rock. A hole tore into the seem and the ball went flat.Overall i think this is a pretty good ball, but it may have some issues with durability. This is especially true if this is going to be an outdoor ball.

True to size after properly inflating, quality composite leather cover and grip
Immediately upon receiving the ball, I recommend inflating the ball — remember to lubricate the needle with water or saliva — to the absolute maximum capacity where it becomes a bit tough to depress the ball with one thumb creating a slight indentation in the panel cover.Also, using a soft bristle toothbrush to and some water to gently clean the entire exterior of the ball to eliminate the strong composite leather smell, and improve the grip because the ball is a bit slippery right out of the bag, as is to be expected with basketballs since most need to be broken in.I’ve purchased three of these balls and they came shipped completely deflated merely in a manufacturer branded clear plastic bag and a white plastic shipping mailer, not even a bubble mailer., and there were wrinkles that formed on the edges of the concave ball because of its deflated state.Worry not about the wrinkles though because they do disappear with use.One last thing to note is after initial inflation, the ball is a bit small, just over about 29″, but after following my instructions, and using the ball for a day or two, it will fill out to the full 29.5″.Then, you can release some of the air and use the “drop the ball from 7 seven feet high and bounce to waist level” method to determine proper inflation for use.

For the price this is actually a pretty decent ballI have the other high quality game balls we use in high school that run you about 50-60$I wouldn’t say this ball is right there with them but if your looking for just a ball to use at the park or for fun, highly recommend this oneIt will collect dust for about 5 min but after that it’s good to go

Do NOT buy. HUGE bubble and busted seams. Lasted only a few months.
Look at the pictures. I started using the ball in late February 2022, and by late May, it started falling apart. It got a huge bubble, and multiple seams failed. Unacceptable. To make it even worse, there’s no option for a refund or replacement. (I wouldn’t replace it with the same one, obviously.) I was using it outdoors, which should be OK because it specifically says it’s for “indoor/outdoor use.” Only 3 months of use is insanely inadequate, especially with all of the [false] advertising claiming it’s durable. The problem is the ribbing is fake. It’s not actually attached to the inner rubber sphere that holds the air. The ball consists of 1. an inner rubber sphere without any reinforcement, 2. fake leather panels that are sewn together, and 3. ribbing between the panels that only exists for aesthetic purposes. As such, it lasted less time than a cheap And 1 ball from a wire bin at Walmart. Literally. I compared them lol. A refund would be nice, but oh well…

So far it’s been great
I’ll update this as time goes, but as of now I’m impressed with the look and feel of this ball. Appears well made and handles great. Using this ball primarily as an outdoor/backyard ball.Update: My son loves this basketball, as well as myself. It’s maintaining air pressure thus far (7.5psi-8psi) inspite of the early Michigan spring temperature fluctuations. The weight of the ball at 8psi is 22OZ. which is a great weight for outside and official NBA basketball weight. Most composite balls are roughly 21OZ. Bounce is consistent and it has a great texture. Not too soft, but not as hard as a rubber, or leather ball can be before breaking it in. I’ll send a picture mid summer.
