    Works great
Good value and drive quality for the price. The drive was easy to install and format and it came with the advertised storage capacity of 3tb. Really fast for a hard drive. I was able to get a heavily modded Fallout 4 to have load times in the 20 second range consistently.

Just what I needed at a great price.
I seen many bad reviews about packing, mine was sealed in a static proof bag and in a box that fit it well. Loaded it in my Synology NAS, to replace failed drive. Ran overnight, no problems, great deal, the old drive was 10 years old, I don’t think I will see 10 years from this refurbished drive but hoping for a few good years. This is my back up Nas to my main unit.

    So Far So Good
I was a little skeptical about buying this drive as it was so cheap. However, I decided to give it a chance because I am using it for an older PC for non-critical data. The SMART info for the drive shows a new drive functioning well. Do not believe any reviews that say the SMART data has been wiped. It is nearly impossible to do as this info is stored on critical drive infrastructure. Changing it would be so hard to make it nearly impossible. The drive can get a little loud under heavy use and runs a few degrees hotter than I would like. I cannot seem to find any info on safe temps for the drive. Of course, I will update this review after some time because as we all know the real test is how long does the drive function under real world conditions? I believe I may add an additional case fan to deal with the increase in heat from the drive which should in theory extend its life. Other than all that, the drive stores my data and I received what was advertised at a good price. Hopefully, long term quality matches initial quality and performance.

Just as good as name brands
I’ve bought 6 of these hard drives over the past 3 years, they are still all working flawlessly, I’ve had no DoA, I’ve had better experiences with these drives then I’ve had with WD and Seagate.

Great hard drive. Works like a champ so far.
I was looking for a larger hard drive for my external backup drive. Most name brands were 2x to 3x more expensive for the same volume. I decided to try this one in hopes it works as well. I was not wrong. With a 2 year warranty I figured it was worth trying it. So far it’s been great. Fast access and, with usb3, it doesn’t disappoint. Thank you DBSKY for a great product.

The value of a vendor is in how it supports its customer
I have purchased quite a few 2 and 3 TB disks from GoHardDrive over the past few years to use in Qnap NAS systems for both home and work. The disks are obviously used but have always delivered what I expect – NAS/Enterprise level performance. I would not recommend you use in anything other than a RAID environment as failures over time are to be expected but the 2 year GoHardDrive warranty helps you here as long as you do a proper RAID. Yes, they are noisier disks than consumer units and, yes, they typically run hotter than consumer disks – but I expect that and my Qnaps handle monitoring them for errors of all kinds which means in a RAID 6 with a spare I can tolerate quite a bit of failure whilst I am getting a replacement. So now to the supplier and support. Simply first rate. I’ve had infant mortality on delivery that they replaced immediately. I’ve had a drive running more than a year that the Qnap indicated was going to fail and they replaced that without any issue _before_ it failed. They accepted the Qnap error report and replaced the unit once they received the failing drive.Based on this experience I will also just buy replacement disks as the warranty expires and they fail.
