Great for wearing over a leg brace
These breakaway athletic pants work very well for wearing over my full leg brace. I can unzip the whole pants leg, remove the brace and have a wound dressing changed without having to undress. I’m 5’8”, 162 lbs and medium fits me well, even the inseam length is correct. The zippers seem sturdy enough so far and can be zipped down from the waist or up from the ankle. When unzipping from the waist, the waistband stays intact so my other leg, crotch and backside stay covered. The waistband is elasticized with two Velcro tabs that provides for some adjustment. There are two side pockets but no rear pockets. It would be nice if the pockets had zip or button closures as my wallet and phone tend to slip out when sitting. The material is thin, similar to usual athletic wear, which makes it easy to put on and take off. They work great for my situation and I would wear them even after I no longer need the leg brace.

Soooooo great for surgery!
I got these for my husband to wear for surgery and therapy/follow-up care on his knee. I was easily able to dress him in the hospital with his knee completely wrapped up in a full-length surgical brace. These were a lifesaver! Also great for PT and follow ups with his doctor. No need to disrobe for appointments. Also convenient to just unzip for the continuing icing required at home post-op. They were a pretty long on him at 5’10”, but it wasn’t a deal breaker with shoes on. They did drag the floor at home, but you could easily pin them up. Should be a great length for taller gentlemen.

When my 90 year old dad broke his femur these were needed. Comfortably and easy to use. Zippers need careful handling as they break easily though, had to buy replacements several times.

DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY PRODUCT SIMILAR TO THIS PLEASE TRUST ME ON THIS AND READ ……. give me a second to explain the story that occurred with these pants YESTERDAY!!! …. I broke my leg falling on ice in 3 places, ultimately having required surgery, 3 plates, 15 screws, pain I’ve never felt (broke a ton of bones in the past ant this wasn’t a bad fall) and 3 months out of work so far, purchased these. out of a need to change pants with a cast post surgery. in the 2 months so far, I bought 6 of these EVERY ONE FAILED IN THE ZIPPER. I did not originally complain about the first 5 simply have other things to do and it served a temporary purpose. HOWEVER, yesterday I had a follow up appt with the surgeon and a major trauma hospital near me. I was dropped off all was good I was heading to the accible ramp when my 6th pair failed! I was forced to endure a 26 min waiting room, travel to the 6th floor for follow up X-rays to confirm hardware did not adjust, then back down to the Ortho ALL IN MY UNDERWEAR (to the men reading this it was the pair my wife yells about that is torn at the waist band and has holes BUT IT STILL WORKS just maybe not in a public major hospital. I absolutely think the hospital owned a lot of the not attempting to offer help or have any compassion BUT IF 6 OF THE SAME ITEMS FAILED IN THE SAME EXACT SPOT IN 2 MONTHS THAN I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT BUYING THIS PRODUCT AND HOPE THE SELLER TAKES THEM DOWN! enjoy my embarrassing photo to provide evidence AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS

Manufacturers should take note of review if they want to improve their product.
The pockets are virtually completely useless. Their is no depth to the pockets and placing a phone, keys or anything you dont want to lose will pretty much guarantee they will fall out. The zippers from the top will slowly come undone. Most people will not completely unzip their pants. Rather , peole will unzip from the bottow till they reach a point where they can comfortably remove their foot/leg depending on what type of footwhere they are wearing. The top zipper needs a what to hold it zipped. In addition to large enough pockets to hold a modern iphone it should have at least one pocket that can be zipped, or velcroed for secuity of pocket contents. Also, the pant leg length for the large should be an inch longer or make a longer legged version.

zipper broke 3rd time worn
fit is great, just a little long. but the zipper broke the 3rd time I wore them. very disappointing but they were perfect for the first 2 times I wore them.
