Poor Quality
The unit worked for 6 months, then suddenly it stopped working. I don’t know if it was the transmitter or receiver that failed. I suspect the receiver because I would lose the signal, only to find that the receiver had “jumped” the channel. I ordered a different brand for replacement. DO NOT buy!!!

This really didn’t work at all for my intended purpose (allowing audio to go from my TV/receiver into other rooms in the house (with an additional purchased receiver). The problem was possibly caused by my house being made of cinder blocks. Regardless, I had to return the items and install some unsightly cables instead.

I chose it because RCA is exactly what I needed for connecting a slightly elderly digital set top box (STB) to an old TV receiver. This Moretop transmitter/receiver pair offers 8 channels in the 5.8 GHz band, to let the user pick a channel that gives best picture quality and range. The instruction leaflet is very sketchy, but once I’d decided to ignore the flashing blue lights (pairing? dropouts?) on the front panels, the transmitter and receiver proved easy to set up and gave a picture that was steady, though slightly less sharp than a direct connection to the STB. I liked the fact that the link behaves like an old-style analogue radio transmission, so if the picture is a bit grainy you can see the effect of moving the receiver slightly (eg 20 to 30 cm) to improve the quality. Sound was clean, and reception was not unduly disturbed by people moving about in the room. I was impressed with the range; I got well over 17 metres through two walls, or a wall and a floor in a large solid house. That’s why I rate this item worth its somewhat higher price compared to some other similar devices, even though this one will only handle simple RCA signals, plus the infra red remote control if needed. I hope it will prove reliable! it’s already proved very useful.

Wollte das Produkt für die Video/AV Übertragung vom Sat.Receiver in den Keller einsetzen.Ein Wireless AV Extender Set,480P WiFi ( nur eine andere Bez. der AV-Übertragung ) zu 59,99€ von Amazon im Sept.2019 erworben,hatten diesen Zweck immer gut erfüllt.Jetzt hatte ich Probleme mit der Übertragung der FB-Signale an den Sat.Receiver.Das war der Grund mir einen neuen AV-Übertrager zu kaufen.Leider total enttäuschend.Nach mehrfachem Testen hatte ich im Keller ein total verrauschtes Bild-bei dieser Signalübertragung natürlich ohne Ton-,die IR-Signale kamen auch nicht beim Sat.Rec. an.Ich denke,habe alles probiert:alle verfügbaren Kanäle getestet,Antennausrichtung,Abstände der Geräte usw.Ohne Erfolg.Werde das Set zurück schicken und das “alte Set” wieder installiern,dann eben ohne IR-Sigbalübertragung aber mit guter Bild-u. Tonübertragung.
