Does its job and does it well
Pros:* Phenomenal design quality – sleek, stylish, and economical design. It looks great, doesn’t waste any space, and has what I need included.* Does the job of a computer and a tablet without forcing you to settle for either.* The touch screen is very responsive and I have had no issues with the detail or function of the screen.* Start up time is phenomenal! In less than 30 seconds, I’m ready to go.* The kickstand is very flexible, allowing for a multitude of viewing angles. This really adds to the versatility of the product* Battery life is great – I can easily get 4 hours of moderate to heavy use from this thing before I have to charge it again. If I’m just browsing social media, I can get more than that. Charging is very quick, also.Cons:* The type cover is very compact and somewhat awkward to use. If you have big hands, you may have trouble using it.* No USB-C port. This is a big issue for me, as most of my wired headphones and devices use USB-C, meaning I have to carry around an adapter. This isn’t a deal breaker, this just could’ve been better.* The Microsoft Store – everybody knows the Microsoft Store is garbage. They don’t have most of the standard apps or games that you would find in the Google Play Store or the Apple Store. The only good thing I can say about the Microsoft Store is that it beats the Amazon Store, which isn’t saying much. This is the biggest con for me as it is EXTREMELY limiting for the tablet portion of the device. If you are wanting to primarily use this for a tablet, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Every app that you think you would want to put on a tablet – go make sure it’s on the M-Soft Store. It probably isn’t.I bought this around eight months ago and haven’t had any issues at all. I do highly recommend the product to anyone looking to purchase it. It works perfectly for working and for leisure.

Better than expected, extremely useful device!
I wanted to take digital notes using the stylus in my classes. I chose this surface because it can run desktop applications for my computer science courses (I’m a comp sci major, so there happen to be quite a few of these). The main factor that led me to purchase this was extended returns, as I was skeptical of whether it would be worth the price. Now, this is one of the best purchases I ever made. It entirely replaced my (high-end) laptop for daily tasks and doesn’t have trouble running everyday programs. The battery can make it through my entire day (including my Mondays with 10 hours of classes). As far as problems, the 128 GB of storage won’t go far if you have to install a lot, so consider upgrading that. It can get rather toasty when running, as cooling is entirely passive. Not sure if running at full performance while charging would lead to issues. Although an average-to-small-sized laptop, the Surface is rather large for a tablet. It can be awkward to hold as a tablet, and I’m a pretty big person with large hands. If you are looking for a highly portable and versatile device that handles both notetaking and desktop applications, the surface is probably for you. I know some people who aren’t big on touchscreens and carry backpacks everywhere, so they don’t need a device like this. Reflect on the way you like to work and travel if you are stuck deciding, as this device isn’t for everyone, even though I love it.

Very good value for the money and build quality
This is the 2nd surface pro I own (I own also the surface pro 4) and I am extremely happy with the build quality. One problem I have with this unit -that might be related to software- is that when I put the computer to sleep from 100% battery life and I switch it on again in less than an hour, it starts from ~75%.Keyboard quality is very good (as in the previous model I owned) at the beginning. It is as good as a fully sized keyboard. In my previous pro4 model, the fabric wore out after 2 years in the lower left hand side where my palm was usually touching when typing.I like the fact that this unit is fanless. It might not sound as much (literally and metaphorically) but it’s a great deal because the unit has less ventilation holes which means that it accumulates less dust inside.PSU is OK. The previous model showed issues after 2yrs of use. The low current cable that attaches to the PSU had most probably been damaged and it worked only when the wires were bend at a certain angle.Screen is amazing.

Saludos y gracias.,

I love my surface book pro 6. Its fast, light, cheap and works great . i highly recommend it. When i am not using it as a tablet, i connect it with a 34 inch monitor with an external keyboard as well, and this setup becomes my main daily workstation. there is nothing it cant handle.

The best tablet/laptop I’ve ever had. Did not expect such a little thing to have this much power. Bought it for work and casual gaming and works like a charm!

Pros…Fast quad-core performanceGreat battery lifeBright and colorful displayComfortable keyboardintegrated KickstandCons…No USB-C/Thunderbolt portshardly any apps available in tablet mode. The Surface Pro 6 isn’t for everyone. It’s for people who will truly benefit from having a detachable 2-in-1 that’s light enough to carry anywhere and flexible enough to use as a tablet or laptop. The Surface Pro 6 is not onlyfast, it lasts a long on a single charge, which means in many cases you’ll be able to leave the charger behind. The iPad Pro 12.9-inch is even faster than the Surface Pro 6 and offers longer battery life, but its keyboard lacks a touchpad and iOS simply isn’t as productivity-friendly as Windows. I wish Microsoft offered USB Type-C on this device, but otherwise, the Surface Pro 6 offers a nearly perfect combination of performance, endurance and ergonomic comfort.
