I used to despise this grumpy hockey star with a shattered picture…
Now the banter’s fireplace, and he’s scoring straight to my coronary heart.

My rule when it got here to Logan Mitchell: keep far, far-off.

Now he’s the face of my shelter’s Undertake-a-Participant marketing campaign… and I’m imagined to survive weeks round him with out shedding my thoughts.

Seems, beneath the gruff, all-hockey exterior, Logan has a candy facet.
Particularly on the subject of a sure rescue canine at my shelter.

The extra I see previous the headlines and into the person himself, the tougher it’s to recollect why I swore to maintain my distance.

Planning the marketing campaign over late nights turns into an excuse.
The banter turns into one thing deep.
My very own arguments crumble, and I begin to fall for him.

It began as a technique to repair his picture.

Now with the press spinning their very own story, he would possibly find yourself wrecking mine.

Taming the Grumpy Hockey Participant, a candy enemies to lovers romance, filled with scorching chemistry with out the specific warmth.

    Romance, Hockey, and Cute Pets
There is seriously plenty to love about this book. Lucy is a sweetheart to Logan’s grump. The main dog of the story is Lewis, who is just too adorable throughout. The storyline is great, and the ending is beautiful.

Grumpy Hockey player and a cute dog, what more is needed
This was a cute story. I loved how Lucy had the patience to deal with Mr. Grumpy, Logan. There’s nothing like a cute dog to tame the grumpiness in anyone, especially someone who didn’t want to be involved with the campaign in the first place. I always enjoy the HEA, but sometimes you just want more. The wedding, the kids, etc. But still all in all a sweet book nonetheless.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    A Fantastic Hockey Romance
Taming the Grumpy Hockey Player is an amazing sports romance, which I thought to be captivating from start to finish, entertaining and an absolute pleasure to read. I couldn’t set my phone down for a single second because I didn’t want to stop reading this book. Taming the Grumpy Hockey Player follows the story of Logan and Lucy. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Logan and Lucy as well as witnessing the feelings they have for each other grow stronger as the story went on. The chemistry between these two characters is off the charts, smoking hot and undeniably irresistible. The story is phenomenally written, exceptionally balanced and beautifully executed by Gianna Ward. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I was blown away by the storyline. This novel has a marvelous plot, wonderful characters and a breathtaking ending for the main characters. I would HIGHLY recommend Taming the Grumpy Hockey Player for anyone who’s looking for a new hockey romance to read. I will be definitely checking out more of this author’s work in the future.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    I loved this book!
I absolutely loved this book. To be honest, hockey romances aren’t generally my thing, but I was intrigued with the premise since I’m a dog lover. Once I started the book, I read over 80% the first night, then finished it the next morning before doing anything else. I couldn’t stop turning pages. What I liked most about the book was that I felt like I was watching two friends—who had misgivings about each other—fall in love. Watching their reservations melt away while they opened their hearts made me feel like I had a personal stake in their romance. The slow build of attraction and emotional connection tugged at my own heart…which is probably why I couldn’t stop turning pages.Logan and Lucy are like so many of us. They come with some baggage are doing their best to work their way through it. Luckily for us, we get to watch them find true love in the process. Will definitely be back for more by this author.

    Hmmm
This story has a solid foundation I just wish there was more dialogue and less introspection. So many missed opportunities of interaction, such as, sipping tea on her porch after she has spent time with him at the park. It would’ve been better if she invited him over for tea. Still can be sweet but creates more time for them to be together. I just didn’t understand how they can fall for each other with barely interacting and only one dinner out. So this gets 3 ⭐️ from me. I wanted to like it more but I kept skipping entire paragraphs just to get through the monologues.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Sweet Redemption
This was a sweet story of a love that grows from disdain, judgement issued too early. There is a genuine connection between Lucy and Logan that is natural and so easy to cheer for.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Gossip is Not Reality, Nor are Past Mistakes
Lucy is running herself ragged trying to make her adoption and Care Center survive, after the death of her father a few years previous. Logan is trying to overcome bad publicity due to his ex wife, who only wanted attention and money. At the divorce Logan gave her everything she wanted, just to keep peace. As soon as it was final she went to the tabloids, exaggerated any mistakes he made then laid thier personal lives out to be criticized making Logan look the worse possible. Ever since he has been difficult to deal with and definitely not trusting any one especially women, until he meets Lucy. Lucy is like happiness, sunshine and kindness all rolled into one. Lucy has heard all the negative reports about him but she sees glimpses past his rough personality. This was a fun rom com and an enjoyable fun read.

Hockey, romance and an awesome dog!!
Hockey, romance and an awesome dog, what more could you ask for?! This book was incredible! I loved the brooding surly hockey player, Logan, who actually had gotten a bad rap from the press and had a huge heart. We see glimpses of that amazing heart as he interacts with kids and the amazing dog, Lewis, who steals the book!! Lucy, is a kindhearted shelter owner who just wants to find forever homes for all these pets and loves the local hockey team that her father loved. She did have to majorly change her preconceived ideas of Logan and when she did, she started to really see the good guy under there. I LOVED these two together. They really saw each other and that’s a beautiful thing. This was a wonderful feel good book that you are going to fall in love with.
