Great belt for travel and home
Just returned from a 11-day trip through Greece and Turkey. I ordered it because of the plastic buckle so I would not have to remove my belt going through US airport security. At no time did it set off the alarm. I really enjoyed the double-sided black and brown because I could wear it with all my pants and shorts. The belt buckle is snug against the belt and it does not slip as some others do. Great value. Versatile. Well-made.

Thin and strong
So it’s a strong belt. It holds well when I give it a tug. It’s thin nylon so it’s actually a little flimsy. You cant push it through the loops from a few inches away, you have to control the end the whole way through loops.Pay attention where it goes through the buckle. The first time I wasnt paying attention and didn’t put it in the correct slot, and it was very difficult to remove!I like it. It’s very functional, and strong, and looks good enough look to be an outer belt in most occasions. I might go for a thicker one if I need another for sturdiness.

Daily belt. Comfortable, adjustable, and durable
I am surprised at how much I like this belt, especially considering 1. the affordable price and 2. the plastic buckle. Stylistically this is very plain, and not noticeable which is perfect for me. I was hesitant when I received the belt and saw that the buckle is all-plastic construction. They included an extra buckle which was a nice surprise. However after many months of daily use it has been perfect. Comfortable, infinitely adjustable, good strap width, and durable. I keep a pocket knife clipped to my belt at all times and I have not noticed any wear on the section of belt that I clip it to. One corner of the end of the belt has been cut to be rounded, which I at first thought was odd, but soon realized that it helps you orient the belt the proper direction and helps you feed the end into the buckle. Great item and I’d definitely purchase again.

The belt isn’t bad, as in it gets the job done. But it’s really just not that ergonomic. It takes like 3 adjustments to tighten it to how I need around my waist. Loosening it is even worse since you really have to mess with the buckle to get it loose. I would’ve also preferred a metal buckle instead of 2 plastic buckles. It’s just a big tacky like I’m wearing a complicated seatbelt. Regardless of my complaints, I would still give it a 3/5, since I am using it and didn’t return it.

Need an IQ of 190 to figure out how to use it!
Okay, I don’t mean to boast, but even though one of my PhDs is in rocket surgery, it took me ten minutes to figure out how to use this belt. The directions that come with the belt might as well be written in Chinese.The belt comes with TWO plastic pieces. You might assume that one of these pieces is supposed to plug into the other in order to close the belt, but you would be mistaken. One of the plastic pieces has a little “gift” label on it. The idea seems to be that they are giving it to you for when the first plastic buckle breaks. What generosity!Once you figure this out, the next challenge is to determine where to insert the belt into the buckle and then how to snap it shut. Clue: it takes more force than you might imagine. But not too much force, or you will break the buckle, in which case the spare will come in handy.The final challenge is in remembering how to use it so you don’t accidentally disassemble the belt in the future.

Honestly one of the best belts I’ve ever owned. I liked it so much I bought a second within a week of buying the first.. Im writing this review months after owning them both and they are both in great condition. Strong build, good material, and well designed. The belts adjust within millimeters of desired size, and lock in and hold. I use it backpacking, and for everyday wear. Only thing to note is that it is a canvas belt, so don’t expect it to look like a dress belt. Its a utility/cargo belt that looks good for everyday wear.

I just got this so I will update this review if any problems with durability, but out of the box, it looks and feels like a good quality bet. The belt itself is very sturdy looking. It was easy to cut to the length I wanted and to seal the end against fraying. I wanted a waterproof belt for skiing and this will fit the bill. The buckle works well – my only concern is the durability of the buckle. It is all plastic, which is not a problem as long as it does not crack. I’ve had plastic buckles like this that have cracked in the past, so I will give an update if there are problems. One really nice thing is that it came with an extra buckle, so I guess if one breaks I have a back up.
