Very Pleased with the speed and capability of the desktop
I opened the box and made the connections and it started right up and updated everything. I was expecting a VGA and HDMI connection, the actual connection I made for my 2-monitor setup was DVI and HDMI. Luckily one of my monitors had a DVI port and I had a DVI cable. The VGA port was on a separate video card. I had read on other reviews that VGA port was disabled. The HDMI connection on the video card was not HDMI it was like a firestick connection, but the box included the adapter to make it HDMI. Luckily, I was just savy enough to recognize this as I was setting up.After the setup everything else went very smoothly. The computer is very fast, and I tested some computer games and they worked great. If I hadn’t been able to figure things out during setup there is a tech support label on top of the computer with a phone number and email address. It doesn’t meet the requirements for upgrading to Windows 11 requirements, processor not supported, this wasn’t important to me.I am very pleased with the performance and price; this is my first refurbished computer purchase, and it was very successful. This level of performance is over $2,000 and I got the capabilities I wanted for nearly 1/10th of the cost; 2TB HDD, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD with an Intel 7 Core 3.4 ghz processor.

A lot of power for the price!
I had been using an old computer (like 10 years old) for the last year and really needed to upgrade to something faster. I had my concerns considering that this is a rebuilt computer but it did not disappoint. It works great and performs wonderfully. Since this computer is called a mini-tower workstation, my only worry was that the case/tower would not be big enough to upgrade to a decent graphics card, but the tower turned out to actually be bigger than my last computer. So there is plenty of room to fit a bigger graphics card. You can play games with the current graphics card, but anything more intense than Stardew Valley you will need to decrease your resolution by a lot. I’ve tried playing Firewatch on it, but the movement is still jagged. But, overall, this is a great deal!

Zero support. Ram went bad. Mobo went bad
EDIT 8/31/2021None of the ram would work. And than yesterday it stopped booting altogether so i have just purchased a replacement mobo. Best advice is to avoid this. If I were a basic consumer with no tec knowledge I would have tossed this out. Never have I had this many issues with any PC.EDIT 8/18/2021I dropped the stars to two because of ongoing issues. I brlieve the motherboard is bad. As mentioned in the original review the ram stopped working but moving to another slot seemed to work. But only for a day or so. The first replacement ram did nothing. It works in another desktop though. So I bought another type of ram closest I could find to what is in this. Nothing but beeps. So the only ram that will work is one of the original ram that came with it. This is kind of pointless for my use. I beleve the mobo is bad, but hp does not support this as it comes up as an old pc whose support ended a long time ago. If amazon wants to send me a new mobo I will change my rating. If not I am going to drop it down to one star.ORIGINAL REVIEWOut of the box there was a ram issue but i moved them into the other slots and they read fine. But than after a few months the ram stopped working. One of them went kaput. I have ordered new ram so we will see how that goes.USB issues seem to abound. Sometimes it works, sometime it doesn’t. The defeats my reason for getting it because I wanted to use external drives. Now I did get get a 3.0 internal card, but the same thing happens with the connections to that as well.I will update when something changes.

Buyer beware
The computer, mouse, and keyboard you see in the picture are not what you get. The tower and dimensions are correct, but there are no lights or remote control as shown. When the computer came and was hooked to the monitor and it wouldn’t work. I contacted tech support as shown on the label on the tower. I called and emailed on a Saturday. On Monday, out of frustration I contacted Amazon (even though the directions said to contact the tech support listed) They patched me through to the correct support and it turns out the HDMI cable gets plugged into a nearly imperceptible slot near the bottom of the tower – not the one midway up. The computer was then visible and works fine. The keyboard is just a run-of-the-mill one (not the one shown when ordered) The mouse was an ancient, optical Dell mouse – the D and L of the Dell logo were worn right off, as was one of the little pads on the underside. I think in the description it should mention that items would not be the same as pictured. I also think more concise directions (maybe on a piece of paper included with the computer) explaining where to find the dark, hidden HDMI slot is located. It would have saved me days of frustration. Not impressed. The computer is running well for me, I haven’t tested it out for gaming yet, so I can’t rate that – my time was spent just trying to see it working on a monitor.
