Perfcet for work
I have to go through a metal detector every time I go into work So I never brought any belts because all of them were made out of metal. I finally decided to invest in a plastic belt and it has perfect adjustablility, quality and hood my pnats up very well

TSA compliance
This belt is great. Yes, the buckle is made of cheap plastic; and yes, it is not a wear every day or even a casual wear belt, it’s a TSA compliance belt.I wear this belt with its, some reviews say, cheap-looking plastic buckle when I am traveling. When I get to my destination, I roll it up, it rolls up into a nice small package, and I put it away, and I then put on an appropriate belt for my situation. For the convenience of not having to take off my belt at TSA checkpoints, it’s grrrreat. And, you can’t beat the price, less than a cup of coffee at the airport.

How to deal with the extra length
So be aware that this is a LONG BELT, so one size will fit everyone. I doubt most who have a 30 or 32″ waist will want an foot of extra belt wrapping around them like a boa constrictor…So what to do? Trim the belt down with a sharp pair of scissors. Be an artisan and make a nice rounded cut. BUT YOU ARE NOT DONE, THE CUT END WILL FRAY, NOT COOL. So dip the cut end in some super glue to seal it and prevent that.

Doesn’t Help in European Airports
I bought this belt to help avoid having to remove it at TSA checks. This worked fine in the USA, but in Italy and England (and likely elsewhere in Europe) the technology they use for screening passengers picks up the belt as a potential problem. Hence it had to be removed to get through their version of TSA.
