Great for holding my videos
I recently got in to making videos and was quickly losing space on my computer. I realized I needed more space so I found this guy for a GREAT price on here and purchased it. It has been pretty darn good for all my needs so far.I was especially surprised with the transfer speed. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to use an external hard drive, but I remember them being kind of slow. Now, it’s practically instant. I moved like 5 gigs right off and it was just done. I was like wait, did that even work? I grabbed a completely different device, downloaded it, and it was perfect. It was all there and there was nothing at all wrong with it. I was kind of shocked. It is extremely fast. Now I am able to make as many dumb videos as I want. Between my iPhone 15 pro max and this external hard drive, I’ve got plenty of room before I run out so I am free to record any dumb thing that comes to my mind. All the shower thoughts and mom jokes included.I was attracted to the 4K ProRes HDR record and store, because I currently have an iPhone that makes use of that codec. It’s so nice not have to do a second transfer. I want my videos to be pretty and stay pretty. The magnetic back is also pretty nice so I can just stick it to the back of my phone (as long as the case is off) while I am recording.I am not the most technically advanced person out there, but I know some stuff. I purchased this one because it says it has fast transfer speeds, is SSD, and is USB-c. I needed USB-c because I transfer a lot from my phone to my computer, vice versa, and they are both USB-c. Plus USB-c is just superior in speed than regular USB 1/2/3.0. So far it has worked for all my needs. All that’s really left to test is it’s longevity. The listing states that it has dust and drop resistance, but I am not going to throw this around and test that out. If it drops on accident, I hope that statement holds true. I have honestly never heard of the Orico brand, but I am sure I will find out how good they are over time.It had other great reviews online, and with Amazon currently with 4.4 stars. That also helped me decide to get this particular hard drive. It does come with a dual ended USB-c.I hope this review helped you. If it did, could you please let me know by hitting the ‘Helpful?’ button? I would certainly appreciate it! 🙂

Compact, fast, and nice magnet (and USB-C cable.)
This drive is fast and the magnet secures the drive securely with my iPhone. If the drive’s magnet could work through my iPhone case I would’ve kept the drive. This is a very nice item for people looking to transfer from iPhone to laptop and/or recording ProRes video.

Fast, portable and small!
I got this on sale and it was worth it. Super fast read and write speeds. Works perfectly with my Pixel 9 Pro XL with a magnetic case. This is perfect for more anime and music on the go. All my music is flac and high quality. Which takes up a lot of space. I’m loving this purchase.

Does not stay attached; falls off because “magnetized” part must be taped on to your phone case
Don’t buy if you have any protective iPhone case….DUMB Design Flaw…the magnetized attachments are supposed to work after you attach the metal ring with the self-adhesive that comes with it. Problem is…the adhesive is about as strong as a piece of scotch tape…so, the magnetized part sticks to itself, but not to the phone. Very short-sighted and falsely advertised as “magnetic” when the only magnetized part to hold the device in place is held on by a piece of tape

Highly recommend
Affordable SSD that can enable using Apple Pro log on iPhone. Love that it’s magnetic so it’s easy to take along without causing too much inconvenience. Purchased mostly for video, but also frees up some memory on my phone. Literally just plug and play.

Great SSD for your iPhone but only if you have iPhone 15 Pro or 16 Pro.
This portable SSD is compact, lightweight, and magnetically attaches to your iPhone or any MagSafe device. The package includes a portable SSD, a data cable, a metal ring, and a user manual. The cable is short and rigid, featuring a USB-C connector on both ends, allowing for connection between the phone and the SSD device. The device itself is crafted from a mix of plastic and aluminum, making it lightweight yet durable. The side magnets are exceptionally strong and require considerable effort to detach them from the phone. The SSD drives come preformatted with exFAT (FAT64), making them compatible with all Apple and Windows devices. There is 953 GB of free storage available, and the advertised transfer speed of 20 Gbps is more than sufficient for recording video directly onto the drive. However, I recently discovered an important limitation: you can only record directly to this SSD if your iPhone has a ProRes mode in its camera settings. Unfortunately, this feature is only available on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro (and Pro Max). Since my iPhone 16 does not have this feature, I am unable to test it.While I can’t record videos directly to this portable SSD, I can still use it to transfer documents and photos between my iPhone and iPad. After recording, I can manually transfer videos to the drive. There’s plenty of storage space for large files, and the transfer speed is quite fast. Overall, if you’re looking for a small, compact SSD with MagSafe capability and high-speed transfers that works seamlessly with your iPhone 15 Pro or 16 Pro, this is a great option. However, it is a bit pricey if you’re only looking for a standalone SSD and do not have ProRes HDR capability on your phone.

SHOULD BE THE PRODUCT OF THE YEAR. Does what it says and is good quality.
THIS IS AMAZING. I’m always hauling around and external hard drive for iPad and MacBook and hope I don’t drop it. This is magnetic and fastens, securely to the back of anything. The iPhone has a magnetic ring, the iPad does not, but the included magnetic stick on ring worked perfectly and holds very securely.

What can I say it’s an SSD that magnets to my phone and laptop. Lots of storage and transfers quickly

Formatieren hilft!Klare Kaufempfehlung
