Works just fine. I popped a 2.5″ SATA drive from an old non-functioning Dell laptop, slipped it into the enclosure, and now I have a spare external drive. Several have indicated that the case is difficult to open. The trick is to open it using your flat palm and pushing back on it. Opens easily that way for me. My only small complaint is heat dissipation. No grill or openings to release heat, but that may not be a factor if you’re just using it for quick storage transfers.

Does not slide open
I used the product to house the 2.5 inch hard drives I harvested from my old laptops. It took me quite some time to open the product, even prying it carefully on the sides. After I opened it, I slid the hard drives and it fit well and was super fast in copying files. If only it slides open just like the video showed, I would have given it a 5 star rating.
