Amazingly Fast Portable SSD
I needed a portable SSD drive and was hoping for a fast one so it would work well for the future. The Fikwot 2TB External SSD is amazingly fast even with the USB-A cable. I have run into a few counterfeit USB flash drives by testing them using F3Read and F3Write on a linux pc. These typically average 3 to 15MB/sec write speed and a little faster read speed, so it can take days to fill up a 1TB drive for testing. Since I spent good money on this 2TB drive without knowing the Fikwot brand, I wanted to make sure it was not counterfeit. I figured it would be writing for a week to test 2TB. I was pleased to see write speeds consistently over 350MB/sec so it wrote all the 1GB files in about an hour. When I read them all in, the drive tested perfectly in less than an hour with no flaws. I can only imagine the speeds with the USB-C to USB-C cable. The drive is super compact at under 2.5 x 3.5 x .25 inches and it comes with 6 inch long USB-A and USB-C cables. I am very impressed with this super portable drive and am thrilled that I took the risk to buy it at $117.

Great small SSD – very fast for running Virtual Machines.
I bought this to use with my M3 MacBook Pro using the UTM software to run a virtual Mac for my wife. I created a 512GB partition and it works fast. Very nice drive.

Worked for about 3 weeks, now basically unusable.
Wanted to like this SSD, but it just misses the mark unfortunately. It worked well for the first 3 weeks or so, but then started to fail after that. Files, pictures, and just about everything else becomes corrupted for some reason, and I am unable to open them. So I stopped using it for storage and focused more on gaming. Nope, doesn’t work for that either. Games will install and load fine at first, but I experienced lots of crashes, textures not loading, memory write errors among other things. So I stopped using it for that too. Essentially, this thing has become a paper weight. It is quite literally unable to store anything without it being damaged or unusable. Save your money, get a different drive.

Excellent SSD for Video
This is a compact SSD that has a couple of notable features. First, it comes with a magnetic disk with adhesive that can be attached to the back of the SSD. This makes it magsafe compatible so that it can be used with an iPhone with magsafe and an usb-c connector. This is great because you can shoot high resolution video without worrying about filling up your iPhone, and easily transfer the video once you are done. The SSD comes with two short cables – one USB-C to USB-C, one USB-C to USB-A. The second notable feature is that it has USB-C passthrough for charging while attached to a device. Performance is plenty fast for shooting and transferring video, which is great. It looks good and attaches firmly to the back of the iPhone once the magnetic ring is attached. Overall, a very handy drive.

Great quality in a tiny package. It is crazy how small and affordable storage space has gotten and you won’t hear me complain. This works just as it should, has a ton of storage, and the transfer speeds are great for the price.

works perfectly, i realised after that it doesnt state the write speed only read speed 2050, but it did not dissapoint. with my high high spec pc it writes 700mb/s when copying game setups or videos which was very fast. did around 450GB in 8mins.Impressed and may even buy some more in future.

Lieferung war schneller als gedacht. Ssd macht einen guten Eindruck. Ist schön klein und wirkt stabil. Die Geschwindigkeit entspricht zwar nicht ganz den versprochenen Werten, ist aber nahe dran. Messwerte hängen ja immer auch vom eigenen System ab. Gefühlt ist sie schnell genug. Hervorzuheben ist die „Plug und Play“ Fähigkeit . Auch das unterschiedliche Kabel mitgeliefert werden, finde ich gut. Bin zufrieden! Langzeitstabilität wird sich zeigen.

Reçu formaté en ExFat et deux câbles (un en USB C et l’autre en USB A) : excellent pour un usage comme disque d’échange de données.Testé avec F3 sur 100 Go (1 To aurait été un peu long) sur ma machine de 2011 (Linux+ Fuse) en simple USB 3.0 au travers d’un hub DOMYBEST Hub USB 3.0 7 Ports SuperSpeed (pour protéger le port USB de ma carte mère en cas de surcharge).Résultat :- aucun secteur défectueux- 286 Mo/s (2288 Mb/s) en écriture- 422 Mo/s (3376 Mb/s) en lectureJe ne peux pas me prononcer sur la durée de conservation de ces performance, mais ces premiers chiffres sont excellents.En revanche, port USB C interne du disque semble un peu fragile. À manipuler avec précautions !

Funciona muy bien, tiene un diseño muy bonito, acabados de calidad, unas dimensiones casi de tarjeta de crédito y transfiere juegos de Ps5 a gran velocidad, menos de 3 minutos mueve 2 juegos de tamaño superior a las 65gb.
