Fast, quiet, worked perfectly right out of the box.
I bought this computer mainly for my business, a small trucking fleet. It’s great for everything I do, really. I’m not a gamer so can’t comment on that, but it’s very fast with everything else so might be good for gaming too. Boots up a bit slow, but not enough to bother me. You could always add a SSD drive to help with that if you wanted. I just needed a big hard drive in a pretty fast computer and that’s what I got for a good price. It came packed very securely, was easy to set up, and importantly did NOT have a bunch of bloatware and proprietary software like HP’s and many other machines that you might buy at Best Buy or Office Depot. That was very important to me. Seems like you can never really uninstall all the pieces of crap on those machines. The only issue I have had, which is really a Microsoft issue, is that this computer comes with a TRIAL of Office 365. I went ahead and handed Microsoft my credit card number during the trial period – it didn’t occur to me that the data in my older Access database wouldn’t be compatible and not transfer over to the new Access version in Office 365. (Maybe there is a way, but at this point I will need to hire a pro since I’ve already bought 2 transfer programs that didn’t do the job). I tried to cancel the Office 365 before the end of the trial period, but every single link I could find anywhere in the Microsoft documentation DIDN’T WORK! This is about 8 different links and also email addresses that went nowhere. So, they charged my account $99 for a year of Office 365. I have spent literally days trying to get my data into the newer version, also tried to transfer the whole older program etc, etc ……and here I am at tax time, unable to transfer my data over… not the computer’s fault though. I would wholeheartedly recommend this computer, but just be sure you actually DO want Office 365 before giving Microsoft your payment information! (Most people would be smarter I was, I hope!)

Overwhelmingly Impressive
I have a bunch of 2009 vintage high-end desktops in my home that I’ve upgraded with 2013, 2014 & 2015 components. It was time to upgrade the primary desktop to 2018/2019 standards. As a retired engineer, I love to shop on E-Bay , and add bargain (bang-for-buck) upgrades to the various desktops around my home. At some point, there has to be an occasional low-budget upgrade to a current motherboard and CPU.For two years, I was pondering such an upgrade, but I wasn’t really seeing much of an improvement over my 2009 motherboard gear, that I had been upgrading for almost ten years. Why upgrade? I’m not an on-line gamer. I had been upgrading video/graphics cards, and never had a problem with any game I might occasionally play. I had added SSD (Solid State Drives), to speed up start-up times.Well, there just comes a time when a retired engineer needs to say – “OK, let me try an off-the-shelf new desktop computer”.I got the ACER at a very good price, and was kind of amazed when it arrived. All of my other computers are in full, expensive, and a few in ‘medium’ tower cases. The tiny ACER case, with a tiny 300W PSU (power supply) was initially very disappointing.Since I plugged it in, I’m overwhelmed. I’m just using the integral motherboard video, and the 1080p display is excellent. The sound is also very impressive. For the $420 I paid on Black Friday, this computer is leaps and bounds way ahead of anything I’ve built over the last 10 years. It’s very quiet, very fast, and pretty much very tiny, compared to the other 40-pound towers around my house.I did add an SSD to the computer, so that when I walk into the room where it’s resting, it will wake up in perhaps two seconds, and be ready to go.I love it!

Very good value for the price.
Pros: Very quiet and fast enough for my needs. I’m not a game player so I can’t judge on that front. I added a Crucial MX500 250GB SSD drive and the system boots up in about 40 seconds. My old system took so long to boot that I’d frequently leave it on all day. That is no longer a problem and the PC even had a place to mount the SSD drive. There are sufficient USB ports for all of my Thumb drives, etc. and the inclusion of Bluetooth is very welcome.Cons: The DVD/CD drive is mounted vertically which I assume was done for space considerations. Using the DVD drive is just plain strange and requires more pressure than should be necessary to mount and dismount a DVD/CD. Fortunately, my use of the drive will be infrequent. The included keyboard and mouse are not great quality and I’ve opted to keep the setup I currently have.I believe it only fair and proper to comment on my overall purchase experience. I purchased this PC from Amazon and it was advertised as NEW. After I mounted the SSD drive and was satisfied that this unit was indeed a keeper, I went to the Acer website to register it. After I created a username and password, I was asked to provide either the Serial# or SNID for the item I purchased. I entered the SNID and was immediately greeted with the following message: “The product is already registered. Please check the Serial Number”. I then entered Serial Number and got the same message.I immediately contacted Amazon and advised them of the situation. Amazon contacted Acer and was given a Case#. After I got off the phone with Amazon, I went back to the Acer website and entered the Case# I was given. The following message popped up on my screen. “Repair Case Status” – Your product has shipped!Back on the phone with Amazon. I demanded a NEW computer and it was received the next day. I immediately went to the Acer website to register it and there were no outstanding case numbers and the PC did not come back as already registered.I purchased this item from Amazon and I was not going to deal with Acer. I’m satisfied with what Amazon did to rectify the problem but if I ever purchase another product from Acer I will be most careful to check if it has already been registered.Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and definitely believe it is a great value for the price. Just be careful, not everyone in the world is honest!
P.S. –
I love this desktop. I use it mostly as a workstation. No gaming. It is blazing fast. I swapped the HD for an SSD for even faster performance. The DVD drive is useless to me and just takes internal space.

pour internet et les films le travail c’est excellent. pour jouer vous aurez besoin d’une bonne carte graphique et d’une alimentation de 500 watts
