Works perfectly!
Easy install and does the trick. It holds my Samsung T7 2tb hard drive snug and secure. I love the ease of the expanded hard drive space and how it keeps the workspace less cluttered. Adhesive seems to be strong. A little worried if I wanted to move the drive, but for now, I am completely satisfied.

ABSOLUTE WINNER!
I’ve had this external hard drive holder since last summer and it’s a five star item! I haven’t removed it from my laptop lid yet (no need to), though it says you can, but it stays secure! I keep an SSD hard drive and its cord safe and at my finger tips. When I’m using my hard drive, I simply connect it to my laptop and return the hard drive to this holder and there’s no worries of accidently pulling out my hard drive without proper ejection. I actually came here to buy a 2nd holder and thought I’d drop a review. There is ONLY room for the hard drive and cord. Nothing else. But I don’t need anything else in it. Total win. I would even buy as a gift.

Secure, discreet, SSD – kangaroo pouch!
Clean design, appears well made and of quality materials. 3M reusable adhesive: time is the test, this was just installed – we’ll see. Fits Crucial X9 SSD, with room to spare. Pouch elastic bands hold it in place nicely. No longer fumbling with, or risking dropping/losing SSD drive. Paired with a USB-C “U” adapter and a short AfterPlug flat USB-C cable for a clean installation on a cool area of the bottom of my laptop. Wish I had done this much sooner! Only took 1-star off for as yet unproven adhesive durability and remov-a-bility. Other than that, would be 5-stars, based on what I see so far. Highly recommend! EDIT: January2025 – 5 months later, adhesive holding perfectly. Adjusted rating to 5-stars. Well deserved.

Great quality hard drive slip
Very happy with this slip. It has two pockets and hasn’t ripped on me like the other slipdrive brand did. Very secure and extra space. Great quality, sleek and I love the black color. Would recommend this to my friends

Does the job, adhesive still works after removing/re-applying
The pockets are very tight/snug which I suppose is good to make sure the drive you insert is snug and doesn’t slide out ever. I’m not sure if it affects the cooling of the SSD or anything but haven’t had any performance issues. Love that I was able to pry it off and re-apply it to a different part of the laptop.For reference, my photo is of a 16-inch MacBook M2 Max (2023).
