Stellar Second Act
When I first found this series I did not know the journey it was going to take me on. The characters have so much depth and have been brought to life in such an amazing way. Paul’s knowledge of racing and what it’s like to drive a race car really shine in Though I Fall. Easy to say this is one of my favorite series and I don’t want it to end!

Outstanding Read
Many people will look at this series as being about auto racing. Some folks will be attracted to the topic, others may think that it’s not of interest. The reality is that the environment the story is set in only influences the story, providing setting and context. The real story is one of personal tragedy, life altering choices, and the perseverance and courage that it takes to take that next step forward. You root for the protagonist, hoping against hope that it will all work out in the end.Well written with great characters, I literally could not put it down. I read it in one sitting, and need to go back to re-read the first novel again. I hope that there might be a third installment of the series.Highly recommended.

Second Book great as the First.
A great follow up to the first book in this series. Again, this is a book, like its predecessor that can entertain the reader even if they are not familiar with racing. Maps of tracks and great descriptions allow all readers to understand the racing scenes as these races thread through a compelling narrative. Chad Watson has to overcome his physical challenges and mental challenges to be able to understand what his parents were trying to instruct him before they were tragically taken from him. I highly recommend this series and give it Five Star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating, something I seldom do. Enjoy.

Not just a great Motorsports book, but a great book period!
I was excited to get this book after having read Legacy Drive. I enjoyed Legacy Drive a good bit, but I liked Though I Fall even more! In the beginning you could easily get to a point that you think the book is depressing, but you’ve just got so stay with it, otherwise you’ll miss the whole point. It reminds me a little of The Art of Racing in the Rain. My dad quit the movie (which isn’t as good as the book BTW). But you can’t do that, otherwise like I said you’d miss the whole point. It’s about overcoming ALL of life’s adversities, no matter how frequent or how bad they are. And after reading this, it simply reinforces my belief in the saying “Dulcius ex Asperis” (sweeter after difficulties). The character would’ve never gotten to certain points in the end if not for the difficulty he endured to get him to each point along his journey. Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Would definitely recommend not just for motorsports enthusiasts, but for anyone looking for stories with redemption arcs. I give it a solid 4 stars! Bravo

Great Read
Really wonderful continuation of original book. Storyline keeps you guessing what direction the story will turn. This book completes the run, and it is a fun, sad, inspiring ride. Jump into the passenger seat, buckle up and pay attention. You won’t regret this purchase.

A great read for automotive enthusiasts
As an automotive photographer, I’ve been to a number of tracks in the Northern CA area, Sonoma raceway, Laguna seca and Thunderhill raceway. The author understands the ins and outs of racing. The story he tells is compelling and relatable. I don’t read a lot of books, but I thoroughly enjoyed these.
