I love these chinos. They’re cut really well and very cute. I got them at a great price. I usually am a size 6 in stretchy jeans and 10 with no stretch/100% cotton, but in the Amazon essentials chino shorts I’m a 10 so I ordered these in 10 but these are definitely cut roomier than the shorts. Still, they don’t fall down at all throughout the day and my only other white pants (jeans) are butt tight. These as with the shorts have a little stretch. I showed close up of how long they fall on me: 5’9, long legs. I wore black underwear with them and although you could tell a little my husband said you couldn’t really unless you were staring. Don’t do what I did and cut the tag out carelessly! I cut a hole right in the fabric (not on seam!) and had to sew it. It is tiny and no one would notice but I mean I do. The one criticism I could maybe have for Amazon brand chinos (these and shorts) are that the button seems to be sewn in flimsily. I’d get these if went on sale in another color, but would probably get an 8. I’ll dry these in dryer since they’re big and come back to update if the fit changes drastically. They’re very comfy and I even took a long, hot walk in them. They don’t get too wrinkled (I didn’t steam or iron these I just wore them out of the package; I know they’re not perfect but good enough for the day I wore them!).Edit: I tumble dried these on low heat and they shrunk a TINY bit, just enough that the size 10 is now perfect. Not too short or too tight after the dryer. As long as I hung them up immediately, no ironing needed.

Great quality pants in CUTE colors with stretch!
I love the soft brushed material and the variety of colors in these pants but go back and forth on the fit of these. I am 5’2″, 120 lbs, B cup and normally a size 4 but I bought the size 2. The size 2 fit great and I have worn them several times before washing and they wash and dry up nice in the dryer. After a while the waist got tight so YES the smaller size does fit tight in the waist (even if you are not large waisted) so I bought a size 4. The size 4 is not as good a fit and pretty loose. So it is TRUE that these pants loosen up over the course of the day, but not to the point of falling down. I believe there is a small amount of spandex. The larger size (for those with a menopause muffin top) fits almost too loose so there’s the dilemma. I think people are expecting these to fit like jeans but they are not as thick as jean material. At the same time they are not as loose as slacks would be. So if you want a better fit keep the size that’s tighter in the waist and really wear them. If all else fails just move the button over.

I ordered several pair of these pants for travel. I wanted something lighter weight than jeans, but neat and casual. I usually wear a size 10 in pants (occasionally a size 8). I ordered the size 10 in these an couldn’t even button them. WAY too tight. But I didn’t have time to shop and needed something, so I ordered a size 12 with fingers crossed. They fit well in the waist, a little loose in the legs, but OK. So I packed them in my suitcase. After a few hours of wear, however, they stretched and loosened to the point that I was constantly pulling them up. Even tucking in my bulky shirt didn’t quite work–of course, no belt in sight. First chance, I ran them through a washer on warm and a dryer on hot. Luckily, they shrunk enough to be functional throughout the rest of the trip. These pants were not expensive, so I guess I can’t complain. But I would recommend that you consider the sizing carefully.

Cream and tan are great pants, great value; one negative: green colors are not as pictured.
Very nice pants…quality is as good as more expensive higher-end brands. Cotton is good weight and they wash well. There is occasionally slight inconsistencies and length (1/2″ or so) between several pairs purchased, but this is often the case with any brand. Good pockets, they wash fairly well (somewhat wrinkled out of dryer, as any cottons will be) and fit well. Clients are generally very happy with these pants.** UPDATE: the colors on both green pairs are not as pictured at all. Had to return green.

Great discovery
I am happy to have discovered Amazon Essentials pants. They are a bit on the long side, but otherwise fit perfectly. They give me a nice option to my usual denim jeans that I wear. The little bit of stretch in the fabric makes them very comfortable to wear, especially when interacting with our under 6 year old grandchildren. They wash up nicely and seem to be well made. Hopefully they will last a good while.

Love the style. I got the olive green and I sized up to a 10 and the pants fit perfect. I’ll wash in cold and hang to dry so there will be no shrinkage. The 12 fit too big.

Great fit, but inconsistent sizing across colors.
These pants are great! The fit is perfect (5’3 and 120 lbs, size 6). They have a bit of a stretch so they are very comfortable. The colors are very nice and as shown in the pictures. The one problem is that the sizes are NOT consistent. I bought three pairs of the same size in 3 different colors (black, dark green, and washed olive). Two of them fit identically, but one (washed olive) was significantly smaller, so it was returned. You cannot trust that the fit will be the same across colors.

I’m 5’5’’ and love these pants. Amazon recommended sz 6 and too big so ordered sz 4 and fit well. I am yet to wear them so hoping they don’t stretch and wash well
