Strange stickiness/tackiness to the ball
I ordered 3 balls when they were on sale for $5 each on July 17, 2023.They’re great balls and AND1 is a great brand (I’m even wearing their slides right now). However, even prior to pumping up the balls, they have this strange tackiness to them. They feel like there’s a strange substance on the outside that’s hard to describe. It doesn’t feel like a standard ball and it’s a bit distracting.I hoping that with use outside that the stickiness I’m referring to goes away, but I still have to give this 5 stars because $5 for a solid ball like this is a great value. It retains air well so far, it’s just sticky. That’s the best way for me to describe it. I wonder if others experience the same thing I’m referring to.

Great gift
Unfortunately my teenager popped his other basketball so we decided to get him a new one for Christmas. The ball does not come inflated, but that’s okay because it comes with it’s own pump. It’s the correct size and has good enough texture on it for grip.

Good Basketball, But Pumping Takes Time
Review: Great basketball overall, but using the included pump was a lot of work. I switched to an automatic pump, which still took a while. The light blue lining wore off quickly, but I haven’t had any issues the handful of times I’ve used it.

Barely lasted 5 months of average outdoor use
Seemed decent at first but not very durable. At exactly 6 months, already 3 split seams and numerous bulges. Less play during winter so call it 5 months of play, between 1-3x per week for say 30 minutes or less. I expected it to wear from outdoor play on concrete driveway but not for seams to split. Feel and bounce were good initially. I’ve got numerous other well-worn balls and none have split like this. Inexpensive but not very durable.
