Incredible value for growing feet
These bargain wool socks are a great value for little, growing feet. They are great winter socks for warm climates or spring/fall socks for colder climates. They are significantly thicker and softer than athletic socks (both tube and ankle styles), but not as thick as good wool hiking socks.Now that they have been through the wash more than a dozen times, there is a frizz and slight pilling that can be noticed on close inspection, but not a deal breaker.My kid likes to sleep with socks on and notes that these socks are soft not scratchy, regulate his foot temperature nicely (both under and out of the blankets), and breath nicely, i.e. “don’t make my feet sweaty” like some synthetic fiber socks do sometimes.

These kitty cuff socks are so soft and cozy! They fit like a dream and my daughter loves the variety of colors. The wool blend isn’t itchy at all and the shape retention is excellent. The fabric is substantial without being too bulky and they slip easily into winter boots. The inside of the sock has a textured loopy feel, but isn’t irritating and we haven’t had any issues with snagging. The description says to hand wash only, but I’ve been machine washing without any issues. I do make sure to use the lowest heat cycle when drying. Once she outgrows these socks, which will be awhile because they also have a great stretch, we’ll definitely order more of these. Very pleased!
