The device is durable and very easy to use.

Great for finding cats around the house.
Bought it to find the cat in the house. Worked so well I bought one for the dog just in case. The range is very good. I haven’t had any problems finding the cat so I would say it’s pretty accurate. Sound quality is pretty good but haven’t really need to use it. This little thing looks like a button. The color is white on one side and silver with the Apple logo on the other. Highly recommend for finding cats around the house.

I had never had an Apple AirTag before but decided to tag my indoor outdoor kitty. That being said this was easy to connect to the find my app on my iPhone, and label it. Now I can track my cat. That being said we also just had to change the battery because it beeped. The battery try it came with lasted about 2.5 months. Changing the itself was also easy to do, and Amazon knows what batteries are needed to replace it. I literally just searched for AirTag batteries. Through the find my app I was also able to share the location with other family members who also have iPhones.

Not the best option for pets
I’ve been a loyal fan of Apple devices for decades, but it’s important to understand that the AirTag is NOT a GPS tracker, and therefore may not be the best option for keeping on your pets to find in the event they become lost. While it’s conveniently set up on the Find My network, it works ONLY with Apple devices, and the Find My network range is limited because it relies on other Apple devices in the area to relay the AirTag’s location. So if you’re in a rural or remote area with no other or limited Apple devices around, the AirTag will be difficult to locate, if at all.
