Better than advertised
I bought this as a refurbished, older model, and it turned out to be better than what I ordered. It had a better graphics card faster processor than advertised based on this I would assume that the advertise specifications are a minimum. After un-boxing it, I immediately downloaded the latest OS and got started. Everything works as good as new.

This computer is from 2013! To save time, I’ll just quote sharihem’s report:ZERO STARS – BE CAREFUL, this company advertised it as “refurbished” but it is NOT – it was old VINTAGE and UNUSABLE computer. I paid $1,407.24 for NOTHING, WORTH NOTHING, I took it to an Apple store since it took all day each time I tried to try to boot up. I never had a Mac before, and this company disguised the old platform with a current operating system – but the computer is so ancient, it CANNOT WORK. It was deceiving because this company installed a current OS version but when I took it to Apple they laughed and said it worth NOTHING. I discovered the the computer was built in 2013, about 10 years ago, 10 + generations ago, impossible to use, it is SO OLD, IT IS VINTAGE and WORTH NOTHING. NONE of my trial applications WORKS on it. I don’t have time to try to devote a day at a time to try to deal with a computer since I am a lawyer, so I had to try to wait till I would have a whole day to devote to try to get it to work because I kept thinking it would work, but when I took it to Apple I found out. . It took Geek Squad 4 weeks to remove the few documents that it took me hours and hours to try to upload. I paid his piece of junk was built. I am furious. I tried to give it negative stars.Update: The company that sold my the computer “Millennium Deals” appears to be entirely uncontactable.

I am a Big Mac fan so this replaced a much older model I had for more than 10 yrs . The performance is amazing and the screen is huge. I paid for the tech support but have not used it yet so no opinion there .Overall very happy

Why Is Apple So Difficult?
OK, it is a great machine mechanically, very fast and the screen quality is excellent. The screen size (since discontinued by Apple due to terminal stupidity) is 27 inches and that’s a rather perfect size. My issue is that I’m an Widows veteran, but considering that Microsoft is even dumber than Apple when it comes to doing insanely stupid things, had to change ponies to avoid any further terminal Windows updates. That should have been a snap, but alas I find that Apple likes to hide everything, and name everything that has no association with what it does, except when you guess right, it bounces up and down on the screen. I had to go Apple because the programs I need (architect) can only be found in the land of OSMac. Aside from making me search endlessly for what I need, I find that Apple is not compatible with any known human made printers, scanners or plotters even if you’re willing to pay the A ransom. It has been a very difficult and time consuming road, and this time anyway, it IS the destination and NOT the journey. If you hear a loud noise ……

Horrid packaging, long shipping, and no keyboard/mouse
I don’t even know where to begin. When I initially ordered this computer, it was supposed to take a week to arrive. Sure thing, I can work with that. Except as each day went by, it didn’t ship. And it didn’t ship. And it didn’t ship. The expected time was delayed. Then, on the second expected DELIVERY day, it finally shipped. That sucked, but oh well. I can deal with it.Then it got here in a giant box and bubble wrap abomination that I’m shocked protected it during transit. But hey, whatever. It seems like it made it ok. Appearance was good. Everything is fine.Whip it out of the box, plug it in, aaaaaand….I can’t even use it. The wireless keyboard and mouse that were promised weren’t in the box. I’ll up my rating if I get that keyboard and mouse so I can at least use the damn thing.UPDATE: Haven’t even had it for 24 hours and the HDD is no longer working. I am locked out of 1tb of storage space and now stuck at 120gb. This experience could not have been worse if it tried.

The computer came as described. Works great! They sent me the wireless mouse and keyboard after I received the wired one. No problems at all! It is good deal for the price I paid.
