Worked perfectly and VERY fast.
While I didn’t time it, I was very impressed with the short time it took to flawlessly transfer more than 2000 raw photos to my ipad.

It costs more for a good reason..it works in the long run
I was given advice NOT to buy aftermarket SSD card readers and to buy the Apple product because after a while the aftermarket ones become unreliable. So far so good. There is a reason cheap stuff is cheap, they cut corners somehow.I just bought a new (2025) pricey Mac and it doesn’t make sense to cheap out now with a cheap SSD card reader. IMHO.

Not only does this work on Apple products (iPhone, iPad, MAC), it works on Android, PC, and Linux. In testing, I did not find an application where this reader did not work.
