This is a high quality dongle. That said, it’s not a good value for the money, because it’s nearly 20 bucks when some no-name brand $2 adapter would work just fine.It functions exactly as you would expect. The fit is tight, which can slow down plugging in or unplugging an accessory, and it can make you feel like you are damaging it.It is easy to use, but it should have been unnecessary… there should be one plain old USB-A port on the MacBook Pro or MacBook Air for things like a mouse or a trackball. If you are using it for an iPad or iPhone, then it’s just fine.

Works perfectly and easy to transport with.
Easy fit to convert USB-C and USB-A. My newest Mac laptop has only USB-C ports and my old one only had USB-A. All my thumb/jump drives are USB-A. So, to be able to transfer old files of even access old info, I needed a USB-A to USB-C converter, and this one works perfectly.
