It’s functional; don’t like the hood so much
This rain jacket serves its use as a means of protection against rain. The only issue I had with it on wearing it was the hood doesn’t fit well on your head when you tighten it. It covered my eyes a bit. If you don’t tighten it, it’ll fit but not block out the rain as well. So I have to take a star off of its rating.

Very lightweight, looks great, fold away so easily and well.
This is my new favorite rain jacket. It’s my favorite one of the last 3 that I’ve owned. It’s very lightweight and thin, yet not fragile feeling. The hood is a nice size and easily covers my big head, even with a hat on. The pouch in front is big and turns inside out to stuff the jacket inside, and has a carrying strap/handle inside so you can have it with you when your not wearing it. Even when you take it out of this folded state, it’s not too wrinkly and the few that are there, go away pretty quickly.It’s completely waterproof and windproof. I was out in this on a very rainy and blustery day, and I was completely dry and felt no wind get through at all. It’s very roomy. I’m 6ft 1, 230lbs, and I have plenty of room in it. The elastic in the hood and waist are great, but I haven’t had to use them other than once, and the hood stays on very well without it.I have no complaints at all with this jacket. Even thought the colors I chose are grey/black, it still looks like a vibrant Grey, lol, if you can say that. It’s not dreary looking. I’ve gotten compliments on the color of a jacket that’s just grey/black. I was really surprised by how much I love this jacket. I was just getting it because I needed a jacket to fulfill this function of keeping me dry when it rains, but I find myself wearing it even when there is no chance of rain whatsoever.

Lightweight and packable
So I was concerned I would end up standing in the shower to test this rain jacket, but nature obliged and we had some light rain yesterday!This is an anorak style shell, and I am a sucker for those. It has a generous kangaroo pouch and a substantial vent across the back. It is packable, and so thin I thought for sure the bubble mailer it came in was something else! Anyhow, it easily packs into its pouch and the whole thing g takes up minimal space in a day pack for a walk in the woods.I got a 2XL instead of an XL for two reasons.First, sizing in international clothing can be dicey and I’ve had XLs where the shoulders are too tight second because I wanted a shell for cool weather rain more so than warm weather rain. I wanted to be able to throw on a layer under this and stay both warm and dry.The fit therefore is a bit baggier than one might expect, but that tells me the sizing is more true to American sizing than some. My one issue is the cuffs. They are elasticized, but not adjustable. So at this point they are quite open when I’m wearing it. I did put it on over one of my thicker fleeces yesterday and the fit was great.The cloth is shiny. But that also seems to be part of how it’s shedding water, and it does that well. I had an umbrella just in case, but walked a decent distance in the rain yesterday and my torso and arms were dry. The water beaded up on that shiny fabric and rolled off when there was enough.Is this my main rain jacket? By no means. But it is perfect for a cooler weather shell and for putting in my pack.

Excellent For Light to Medium Rains
I got this pullover raincoat for light rains. I live in a region where rainfall isn’t too frequent, but we still get it occasionally. Often, the rains are light to medium, such that they’re enough of an annoyance to warrant some protection but umbrellas still fill too cumbersome to carry around at all times. This raincoat is ideal for these situations, as it can be easily tossed into a car and pulled out when needed.The sizing is accurate. I regularly wear a men’s XL and I got a XL raincoat, which fit me perfectly. Besides, when it comes to raincoats, it’s better to be a little too big than too small, as it allows the user to wear additional clothing underneath, if necessary.I’ve also had other light raincoats, some of which still allowed rainwater to seep through. This raincoat does not have that problem. It’s well-made and kept me completely dry in the rain.About the only thing I would change is that I would make this a full-zip raincoat. But that’s more of a stylistic preference.Final score: 10/10; Would Recommend!

Pocket is huge – Runs Big
The jacket itself runs big, ordering correct size still made it fit oversized. The pocket is also huge and holds a lot of things, if needed. Perfect for rainy days.

This seems like a great, light rain jacket. I ordered a size larger than my usual because I wanted it to be able to fit over a puffer coat, if temps are on the low side. I’m 6 feet and 150lb, and the Large does indeed fit perfectly over my puffer. I have a narrow waist and appreciate that you can cinch the bottom to make it less baggy (and to keep wind out).. The hood is great, and the sleeves are plenty long enough for me. The kangaroo pouch looks a bit odd but it does serve a purpose. Being still in the dead of winter, I haven’t had a chance to actually wear this out, but I did do tests — running it under water, and I’m pretty impressed with how much it resists. I expect it to perform well when it finally warms up a bit!

Great rain jacket!
I love anorak style jackets.For colder weather, the lack of a full-front zipper really helps hold onto the heat.The cut is generous, allowing for a full range of motion without being too baggy or bulky.It’s also nice that the jacket will fold into the zippered, kangaroo pocket on the front.This reduces the overall size and makes it very easy to store.My only gripe is that there really isn’t much in the way of ventilation.If you’re doing any sort of strenuous activity while wearing this, you will sweat.Good quality.Very lightweight and packable.Comfortable.Highly recommended.
