Runs a size small
I love the bright color, pattern and look of this shirt style jacket. It feels and looks like cotton but the tag says 100% polyester. It has a single left chest pocket, there are no side pockets, it has snap buttons for closure and cuffs. It’s designed more like a shirt than a jacket with slight tails. It’s lightweight for a jacket and heavyweight for a shirt.Unfortunately the size seems to be a full size small. I’m 5’9, 225# with a belly and I can’t close or button this “size XXL”, it won’t fit around my 48″ girth, and the sleeves are just a bit short for me, it does fit well on my shoulders. Normally an XXL fits me snug but easily around my belly and typically XXL is the size I wear for shirts and jackets. It makes me wonder if this is actually a women’s size XXL since the description mentions for both men and women. I’m disappointed as I really like the looks of this.

Warm and distinctive
This is a medium weight shirt jacket, textured and colorful. It has a distinctively hand woven look and feel, the material is a bit coarse but as an overshirt, its fine. Its really warm and feels well made. The colors are rich and the pattern has a native american vibe. There are metal snap closures at the cuffs and in front and a generous double thick collar. Theres plenty of room inside for layering, the arms are roomy. There are no labels indicating materials or cleaning instructions. It feels like cotton but the description page says its 100% polyester so it should be durable.

Was excited, but the large is too small. already loose string, but unworn.
Was super excited for this and it arrived I put it on and it was too small. Like almost seems a size or 2 to small. I doesn’t fit right and I almost always wear a large. I can’t think of getting a large and ever having an issue, but this is too high and the sleeves are inches above where it expected. They said it was a European size.That being said I like that pattern, but the fabric, even unworn has fabric and string coming apart or unfinished. Was super excited because I liked it’s vibe, but it’s not wearable for me and I am not sure if as a reviewer I can exchange.

Order up a size. Material is rough. Loose threads are concerning. Great design & colors.
I just received this shacket several hours ago & already machine washed/air dried it.I’m a 6’0″ , 185 pound male that usually wears between a size L & XL. I ordered a size XL of this shacket, because I wanted a looser fit. Well… I received a size XL but this thing feels absolutely stiff & tiny. I feel like it’s not long enough in both the torso area and sleeves. If I had a do over, I would order a size XXL (and even then, I would have my doubts that it would be loose fitting like I wanted, if my current shacket’s size is an accurate indication).The shacket has A LOT of long, loose threading. Some of it is superficial and I will be able to simply trim it up some, but the area where the neck and shoulder material meets, is especially concerning. There’s a cluster of loose threading going on in that area, which makes me question how long the shacket will last. I’ve attached a photo of that area to show you what I’m talking about. Thankfully, due to the design of the shacket, it will be easy to patch it up without being noticeable.The material is pretty rough on my skin (feels like the underside of a coarse, woven rug), so definitely expect to have to wear the shacket along with a soft long-sleeved under shirt, if you want any semblance of comfort.This shacket isn’t a totally horrible (I feel like I’ve been super negative so far). It’s EXTREMELY warm. The design looks even better in person and the colors absolutely POP. The buttons are well sewed on and clasp together very tightly.Would I order it again? Despite some of my grievances, I would actually consider getting the size XXL. The design and coloring alone warrants at least an internal debate on whether or not to order it, in my opinion.

Good overshirt
This shirt is great to wear over something neutral. Great casual wear with jeans or something. The fabric does feel kind of stiff and kind of cheap, but I think it will mellow out with some washing.

Listed measurements are nonsense!
The measurements listed in the size chart for this garment are way off for the XL size. The sleeves are comically short. They are stated as 22.6″, but measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff along the top of the arm (the longest part of the sleeve) they are only 21″. The shoulder measurement is also smaller by an inch. As for the “height” measurement which they list as 140-160 inches? Which is over 11 feet? That probably should have been my first clue not to trust the size chart at all.In addition, the snaps are garbage. They barely stay closed, and the matte fronts arrived already scuffed up and shabby looking.This is all quite a shame, because the woven fabric itself is a lovely pattern, great colors, drapes well, is a pleasant weight and thickness, and seems like it would breathe nicely, if I could wear it.

My new favorite, I love the look
I love, love this Shacket (combo of shirt jacket…)! The colors and design pop which a handmade burlap like look and feel, just love it. My new favorite Shacket. Size chart is good but I would order a size larger than the size chart gives only because if you was it and line dry it as the instructions note, I still believe there would be some shrinkage. This way you can wear this shacket for many, many years. Well made, comfortable. Great texture and look.

Nicely made but a little scratchy
Fits well and seems well made. Its good quality but the material is a little scratchy. It is a nice weight though!
