Nice looking; works well in heavy rain; light-weight; functional.
Large purchased. 5’8″/ 170 pound male; 16/ 33 shirt; 40″ chest; 33″ waist. I bought a large to allow additional winter garments underneath. Perfect fit. This is a very well-made, nice looking product. I’m hopeful I will get 3-5 years out of the water-proof coating (very nice looking from the inside). It provides excellent, heavy rain protection, and completely blocks the wind. It extends down to the bottom of my pants pockets. Does not print if you CCWIWB. Left breast pocket (zippered/ water proofed nicely). Two side/ zippered pockets; one interior pocket. Zippers have corded fobs- all of very nice quality. Interior hanging loop near label. Attached hood with very-nice draw cord and stops. Adjustable cuffs; waist draw cord and stops. Made in Vietnam. Carhardtt makes nice products and I hope they can keep their prices down. Not a vendor or employee… just providing a fair review of a nice product.

The most important things to know here are that this is a thicker, sturdier, and more waterproof jacket than the others that carry the Carhartt brand. It isn’t cheap, but its also not super expensive. Its a good value if you consider how many colors and sizes you can choose from.You may be disappointed that there is no actual lining. I find it’s super comfy only if I’m wearing long sleeves, but its also cut to be comfortable under long sleeves. There is no storm flap over the main zipper, but there seems to be enough structure behind it that this isn’t a problem. Breathability isn’t bad and the wind and water repellency of the shell is excellent. The hood is a bit oversized and droops over my eyes unless I wear a hat under it. Then it’s perfect.I guess that’s the bottom line. It is a stylish but functional piece of kit provided you don’t have to wear it against your skin on a hot day. The best use is probably if you are already wearing several layers of clothing and you need a waterproof shell over that that is still breathable enough you don’t have to take it off every time you go into a heated room or car. We’ll see if its as durable and waterproof after a couple of years, but the sturdiness of the shell and especially of the waterproof laminate layer bodes very well. It’s not going to develop holes or stretches seems unless you really work at it.

We were going on vacation to Scotland. Lots of rain. I decided to splurge and buy this for my husband. Worth Every penny! Breathable, lightweight , and kept him dry.

Carhartt, you have done it again I ordered a black storm jacket for my husband, but had to return. It was too small. I was disappointed because I could not find the elusive Tarmac (green). My husband had lost his original one and wanted another one. I was able to not only find the correct size but get it in the tarmac green exceptionally made great quality as usual once again five stars for Carhartt

Meine Carhartt Größe ist normalerweise L bis XL , diese Jacke passt gerade so in XL .Ich würde empfehlen, wenn ihr schon Carhartt Artikel habt bei dieser Jacke eine Nummer größer zu nehmen. Die Jacke hat eine gute Qualität

I’m a non smoker. Upon Received this product there’s a small burnt mark. Well too hassle to return . So I decided to just patch up with a duck tape inside. . Quality control isn’t that great. No wonder I bought it cheap at 120 SGD. 165cm 64kg fits well on my body. It’s a regular size so expect a lil baggy on the sleeve. Lights rain to medium rain passed. Haven’t tried on heavy rain. I use it for my daily riding jacket.

Carhart is very pricey but you get what you pay for. This jacket is worth every penny. Looks great on, style is spot on and goes with every pair of pants. Ordered medium and fits perfect for 170lb man. Quality is undeniable!
