Well told hockey romance
Loved this book, the main characters, and all the supporting characters. She works for a PR firm that is brought in to clean up his image. Their “fake” relationship turns into the real thing, of course. This is a romance book, after all.I loved the plot and all the details. It was well done. Most of the story lines were tied up at the end (it was a satisfying end) and I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.A few quibbles: As someone who worked and lived in Seattle for 32 years, I can tell you that you can’t smell “the ocean” from downtown Seattle. The ocean is 3 hours away. Puget Sound (which Seattle is next to) is a large body of water that contains saltwater. However, the smell is not strong enough to reach downtown Seattle. Seattle natives do NOT wear rain boots. Only tourists wear those, and it is mostly little kids, not adults. The one little plot line that didn’t make sense was how the stripper knew where she was. Also, there are some small words that are added or missing (think: do, as, the, etc.) Those are distracting when reading.

Cute classic hockey romance! – Minor edits needed
I really enjoyed this book and the storyline. I did notice a habit of run on sentences, especially in the first few chapters describing spaces and layouts. It’s not a huge deal, but as someone who also is prone to writing long winded sentences I notice them easily. I think there just needed to be more commas and periods to help the story flow more smoothly. (Literally had to just reread this review and add some for myself lol) But overall I enjoyed the book and these minor tweaks didn’t take away from the story. I did feel that it got less noticeable as the book went on, and I will gladly continue this series!

Such a cute story.
I really enjoyed this book. This was my first time reading a hockey romance. I was not sure if I would enjoy this genre. But OMG I was smiling and giggling look a school girl. What a sweet story

Story had a lot of potential
I wanted to love it really badly, but the whole story felt a bit forced and everything wraps up so fast at the end that it didn’t feel worth reading. It’s quick and cute and if you want a sweet fast wrapped up with a bow on top “hockey” romance then this is for you. Considering the MMC is a hockey player and the FMC is allegedly a massive hockey fan, I expected there to be more hockey involved, but it was more like it was just his job.*Mild Spoilers *I hate when books wrap up too perfectly and this was no exception. The FMC decides to quit her job and her boss offers her a years salary as a severance and then the next day calls her back and offers her a new position with double the salary. I am just not a fan of those endings. The ex boyfriend played no part in this story and was essentially a useless character. The brother, whose opinion meant everything to the characters was only heard from twice. And there were chapters highlighting other people’s relationships as they will more than likely be the subject of follow up books. It’s fine to establish characters, but wastes these characters time as it does not develop their story. The book takes place over the course of one month, which is apparently enough time to completely change someone’s bad boy image. I don’t mind fast time lines, but I do like realistic ones and this whole story was rushed.*end spoilers*There are many typos in this book, so I hope the author is able to go back and edit.Overall I wanted to like it, but it was just a big miss for me, but I’m sure others will love it.Tropes:Brothers best friendChildhood crushHockey romanceTriggers:Talk about SA (not on page)Manipulative EXParent with cancer

super cute
I enjoyed this book. It was super cute. I loved the childhood friends to fake lovers to lovers trope. It was great. I loved watching Briggs be all in with Autumn, and watching Autumn be willing to give things up to be with him. It had a great ending. But the ending did feel slightly rushed.

Other than feeling super fast, this was a great read! The author is great with details and descriptions, something I actually feel most people skip these days. Try chemistry is wonderful right from the first meet up! they fall quickly but it’s done so well! And the side characters def intrigue and keep you invested to learn their stories!HEA – yesCliffhanger – NoSteam – Yes, but not the whole book, well balanced!

I.Loved.it.Love the good old fake relationship trope. I love all this series, but particularly this one book. The storyline is complex, heartfelt and so good. It’s steamy enough, well written and easy to get into. One or the best hockey romance i read!

This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it!I enjoyed the characters in this book and the plot line, a well known trope but so well done with some a different feel to it!It was well written and I could actually visualise these characters and their lives!I do love a Washington state based book though!I cannot wait to read more! Also there was a few really laugh out loud moments that I embarrassed myself by the pool with! So worth it though!Enjoy the read folks!

Ich war enttäuscht. Einige Zeichenfehler. Die Story war alt, hab ich schon viel besser gelesen. Charaktere nicht sehr glaubwürdig. Ich werde kein weiteres Buch aus der Serie lesen.
