Great Desktop Computer
When I decided to update my computer, I looked around for a desktop that had all the functionality I needed. I don’t play games on my computer, so I did not need any high-tech computer just a good one for emails and some projects for work. The speed is quick, and I don’t often have to wait more than 2 seconds for things to load. It is a compact size that takes very little room on my desk. I have never played games on it so I cannot speak to that function of this computer. I also like this computer because it was inexpensive.

Turns on but nothing happens
I was so excited to get this desktop up and running but once it was fully connected it said Dell on my screen and then went black. Everything is on and powered so not sure what happened there. I spoke to Amazon Support and he says it sounds like the motherboard and is having me return it. Pretty bummed, I’ve been looking forward to hooking it up all week-side note, shipping was quick. Also there is a dongle plugged into the back and another taped to the top of the desktop with no info, no idea what they are for. The mouse and keyboard are super cheap as well and white instead of matching the desktop with black but that’s more cosmetics than anything. Overall condition in regards to appearance it looks good, some small scratches but nothing major. The monitor and all cords attached are new, I asked tech support if I was maybe missing a cord and after telling him what’s connected, he said no. In the video, that’s the first time it does the Dell/black screen twice.

Great Machine
The computer works great. However, it came in a box that was not designed for it, and as a consequence, it is in shambles, with parts of the machine sticking out. The WIFI and Blue Tooth dongles did not work well and I had to buy others that did. Once these obstacles were dealt with the PC works like a charm.

Dell 7050
Computer is working great came right up fast easy to install my drives along with the drives that came with it. Only issue I had was the Bluetooth/wireless dongle that came with the computer Bluetooth wasn’t work and only could use my 2G internet not my 5G, but I had the dongles from my old system and they work great. Other than that the system is work really well.

We needed a new computer, this was a great price and works great. I purchased one for my home about a year ago and I have had no problems with it. Much better than spending hundreds more for the same thing.

Excellent refurb
I was able to confirm that after a number of days of burn in and general operation, my particular Optiplex 7050 refurb performs exactly as it is supposed to and is cosmetically flawless. (I’ve had new computers that were DOA.) A recent gen i7, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, 2TB HDD, and they threw in a wireless keyboard and mouse. Short of competition gaming or working for NASA, how much more do most folks need? If there’s a weak point, it’s the Intel integrated graphics, which is not really that bad, but can be improved greatly by adding a dedicated video card – most of which cost more than the entire cost of this computer, which was under $300! The refurb company, STG Global, was very communicative, and offers excellent aftercare, if necessary or desired. If you get lucky with a flawless unit, you will be as happy as I am.

Keyboard without standard spacing
The PC is great… but the keyboard they sent with it does not have standard spacing between the semicolon and the “enter” key… making it frustrating to type with. I keep hitting the “backslash” instead of the enter button. If it was the only keyboard I use, I could get used to it, but it is not.

Forced to rent MS 365
Just setting up but mouse is DOA. Also Microsoft forces you to subscribe to a trial subscription of 365 for $130. No way to opt out. There is a decline button but it is not active. So you have to call and cancel plus remove all that CRAP that you don’t want. GRRRR. Even if computer works, very frustrated with setup. I’m a very experienced user having built my own computer for over 30 years. One star because of Microsoft setup.

In very good shape I slap in 2x 1TB SSD unplugged the cd-rom drive and put in a RX 6400 gpu and shes working great! I managed to take off that secured boot style windows 10 and put NixOS cause GNU/Linux is the only way to go with all my computers 😉 Only really problem is that HDD LED light doesint work, but oh well.
