Great replacement home computer
I like this replacement home computer. No compatibility issues with the software I had installed on my old Windows 10 machine. Everything works in Windows 11. This machine did NOT have a DVD-RW drive. I purchased a compatible internal drive directly from Dell for less than $30 and installed it myself. (I know that’s probably an “old school” move, but I still wanted the ability to create DVDs and CDs.)I am very pleased with this machine. It was a great for the price.

Update 12.20.24 Thank God for Amazon customer service! The computer worked until 12.6.24. Then it shut down giving a BIOs error. Contacting the seller is useless. They will reply to messages with IT solutions, that if you are not tech savvy, probably won’t be able to attempt. Luckily, I am tech savvy, but the computer still won’t work. Seller is not good at customer service or truly wanting to replace/ repair the item. This is a very good value for the person who does not want to spend a lot of money on a new computer. It does everything as well as a new top dollar computer. Windows 11 works well. Like any new computer, you will need to update preferences and download from the cloud or transfer your files. It’s a really simple set up. There were no compatibility issues with my printer, monitor or mouse.The only complaint that I have is the wireless keyboard and mouse that came with the unit. They are really cheap and it’s probably better for you to use your existing keyboard and mouse or purchase new ones. For me neither the mouse nor the keyboard would stay connected.

This is a great place to buy a refurbished PC and save money. I have bought 5 or 6 Dell pc’s here. Two I use as a DVR for TV. The oldest one I bought here is still running fine. It had Win7, that long ago. I still use for the 32bit programs I have. (Autocad) The service you get here is the best. They have always taken care of me if I had a problem or question. That matters. I can trust this company, so can you. I bought this Dell 3060 for the Win 11 Pro I can’t upgrade the ones I have. October is the end of updates for Win 10 or pay $60 a pc/yr. So this will be my online PC. It’s another great pc. Fast.Dell 7020, Dell 3060, Dell 785, 2-Dell9020, Dell 7040 I use them for video editing and music editing.They have not failed me. They run a full 100% on the processors at times when it’s video edits and the just keep running.

Bought a Dell OptiPlex 3060 Desktop Windows 11, Pro Hexa Core i7-8700 Up to 4.60GHz32GB DDR4 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD1TB HDDAX210 Built-in WiFi 6E Small Form Factor PC(Renewed) Black (OptiPlex 3060 SFF) Windows 11 Pro System… When setting up the computer I couldn’t get past the set-up process it kept prompting me to the blue screen where ” choose an option” then it reverts back to startup repair in process then reverts to “couldn’t repair your PC, I tried advance troubleshoot several times keeps prompting me to exit and continue to windows 10 when it really should say to windows 11, which evidentially is not setup for windows 11 I called there 800 number and all I got was “the person is not available at this time please leave a message and i will you back to you period! the end … I called three time with no response I tried about 25 times with the “troubleshoot” and advanced options” to no avail… Bad service and a bad third party seller.

I am having major issues with this machine from first startup. The computer would continually crash. have done 47 driver updates so far and still crashes. Sometimes it would run for a few hours with no issues only to crash again. Aside from driver and software issues it appeared that it possibly could be a memory issue. I took the machine apart and discovered one of the four memory chips was not mounted properly and was loose in the slot. That has been rectified but still didn’t solve all the issues. This is really frustrating for all of the down time plus time spent loading all the programs only to have to wipe everything if I have to return it. Definitely not happy with this particular product.
