An Excellent Denon AV Receiver At A Great Price!
Denon makes great audio equipment, and this Denon AVR-S570BT is no exception. After 12+ years of daily, faithful use, my Pioneer AV receiver bit the dust. I researched many quality “budget” AV receivers (to make the wife happy…lol), to replace the Pioneer receiver, and a lot of reviews and recommendations came up with the Denon AVR-S570BT. This Denon AV receiver is very intuitive, and easy to setup. It also has a LOT of features in this lower price range. This Denon AV receiver powers all 5 of the passive, original Pioneer Andrew Jones Design speakers (the subwoofer is self-powered) in my 5.1 surround system very well, and with great clarity. No, this Denon AV receiver won’t blow the roof off the house, but it does get very loud, even with inefficient speakers, as the Pioneer speakers are, with an 84 db to 87 db sensitivity rating. However, the Pioneer speakers are 6 ohm, so that helps to increase this Denon AV receiver to 90 watts per channel, instead of 70 watts per channel at 8 ohms. This Denon AV receiver also seems to run a lot cooler than the Pioneer receiver it replaced, especially at higher volumes.This Denon AV receiver has just enough “bells and whistles” for my needs, as I really don’t need 7.2 surround capability, Dolby Atmos, or WiFi features that come with the more expensive Denon AV receivers. Although, the included Bluetooth connection does come in handy, and it works very well with Samsung Galaxy Smart Phones. The automatic speaker calibration and setup is pretty accurate, but it also allows tweaking to individual sound tastes. There are probably features and modes of this Denon AV receiver that I will never use, but it’s nice to know they are included just in case I need them.Overall, I highly recommend this Denon AVR-S570BT for anyone that is looking for a high-quality “budget” AV receiver. Just know that it does not have all of the newest features of some of the more expensive Denon (and other brand) AV receivers. However, this Denon AV receiver serves its purpose for me quite well, and then some. Only time will tell regarding durability and longevity. However, Denon does make quality AV receivers, and if I can get the 12 years out of this Denon AV receiver that I did out of my previous Pioneer AV receiver, I will be a very happy camper. So-far-so-good, though.

The Denon AVR-S970H is a Beast!
I have for some time felt my Sony AV receiver just wasn’t up to par on the sound. It also didn’t have a phono input for my vintage 1980’s Dual turntable I had been wanting to rehab, so I made the decision to update/upgrade receivers. Never having owned any Denon product I went strictly by online reviews and features.I am not disappointed! This receiver has sufficient power to rattle your windows, or reproduce the softest music you might desire. The remote control is used for the setup, which is a menu-driven app within the receiver itself, and even has little videos for the total newbie who doesn’t kow how to hook up speakers. There is also an app for your smartphone that doubles as an extra remote control. I hooked this receiver up to my 7.1 speaker array which includes DCM TP260-CH pair as the front (and main 2 channel) speakers. I am an old DCM nut from the early 80’s; I love my old Time Windows and the newer DCMs have video shielding, so I updated a few years back. My Dual turntable now has been refurbished, so I felt ready to get a new receiver and give it a spin. Prime Delivery could not be fast enough to ease my anticipation. And this new Denon rocks! I never heard vinyl records sound so good!This Denon unit not only SOUNDS superb; the video is breathtaking as well on a LG G1 4K largescreen TV. Watching 4K Top Gun: Maverick exceeded any experience I could possibly have watching in a theater. Whatever equipment you currently have, I believe the Denon AVR-S970H will improve your experience whether you are watching movies or listening to your favorite tunes. I am not a video game player, so I cannot critique the processors for that; however, I would be shocked if the Denon did not deliver top notch gaming performance as well.Everything is well thought out from the appearance to the setup to the controls. Ample HDMI connections (see back panel pic) and eARC functionality make it as versatile as any unit can be for home theater. I especially like the flexibilty of assignable speaker connections for surround versus zone 2 (a second room) and 8K processing (even though I have no 8K TV).My ONLY criticism is that there are no tape deck connections as Denon has on some of their less expensive stereo amplifiers. When I wrote them about this on their website, their answer was that cassette tsape decks are not coming back like vinyl is. (Excuse me?!) I guess Denon thinks one cannot be both a surround sound home theater buff and an analog music buff at the same time.The Denon AVR-S970H is a 90 W/channel beast of a performer that won’t let you down; it is most worthy of your consideration and should be a dependable unit for years to come. J’allais le retourner parce que intelcom a mis 4 jours de plus qu’annoncé pour le livrer, mais finalement on l’a branché et wooow on ne regrette pas notre achat ! Installation super facile grâce a un smartphone, code qr, téléchargement de l’application et bam tout est réglé ! A la rigueur, le seul défaut serait la télécommande non éclairée qui nous fait galérer pour trouver les boutons de volume quand toutes les lumières sont éteintes.

I purchased this for a new system I put together for my newly renovated living room. I didn’t need anything more than a 5.2 system and the choices are limited. The TV is a new OLED LG with all the new features that HDMI2 offers, so I wanted an AVR that could take advantage of them. Wow, what an upgrade from my old AVR. Easy to program, easy to setup, and there is more than enough power for my needs. Now if I was 20 again (I hate to admit I was 20 in the 80’s) I would likely have gone with the higher end unit that would piss off my neighbors, but don’t think that this one does not have the power to put some punch in your audio system.My new setup has 2 slimline ML speakers flanking my TV, a ML center channel speaker under the TV, and a SVS subwoofer, and to be honest the sound quality with this AVR is more than I could have hoped for. The space is a full open concept with 18′ ceilings and it can more than fill the entire area with high quality sound. I have yet to test the full output abilities of the system.So long story short, I am very happy with this AVR.

Después de deshacerme de un equipo grande y complejo compré una barra de sonido, a pesar de ser una excelente barra y con sonido atmos no se compara con un auténtico Home Theater 5.1Quería volver al auténtico sonido Home Theater pero sin gastar una fortuna así es que me decidí por este, muy buena potencia para unas bocinas polk audio y excelente sonido, tienes una calidad de audio muy buena sin tener sacrificar la billetera, recomendado ampliamente.
